Woolworths Ballarat Central reviews
43 Why is there never a checkout open when you want to do your grocery shop?
I don't want to do my own, the machines are so sensitive if you touch or move your bag the worker is always having to scan her identity and a $220 shop is bloody frustrating!
Terrible place. Down by milk area they had pellets of flavoured milk plus a worker with a trolley doing online shopping. Workers stood talking while people struggled to get through. So many times I go into get groceries their shelves are empty & this was happening well before covid. Management is so slack at this particular store. Just wish I had taken photos
Store was clean and had a good range of stuff, not a fan of Woolworths or Coles business practices such as loss leaders to drive smaller businesses out or treatment of farmers at the farm gate though.
No one monitoring Covid compliance. QR codes visible but shoppers are not registering. Similar case with sanitising stations. Same at the Coles next door today.
Not much to say.its a supermarket, did buy the hazelnut mouse cake to try. Not nice there cakes are always a disappointment, stay away from the birthday cakes horrible. It's a bit sad, as they could be so much better.
I also noticed, the prices felt a bit higher then Coles.
The shelves are hardly stocked and the staff packing click and collect orders with their trolley's will not move for you and when they are moving expect you to get out of their way and are so rude.
I love Woolworths it's good cheap and good I give 10 out of 10 for them they are good shop and world treat it starts
Great place to go, however I was slightly disappointed in the lack of vegan options in the health area. Was unable to find egg replacement and was upset for that
Had everything we needed, plenty of everything. People social distancing and everyone was wearing masks
You have a really genuine and helpful staff member named Jordan who not only asked if he could help but was eager to discuss and help with my odd search. I just want to recognise and share the great customer service. It made my day.
I go here often and it was recently renovated which makes for a good shop. I like the layout of the store and have never had an issue
Typical WW. Easy access. Great parking. Shares shopping precinct with smaller stores. Great access to public transport
Everything is good, HOWEVER it's a shame that despite one of the staff there being infamous for her RUDE, behavior she is still working there. I am talking about no other than 'Sophia' the short middle age lady with glasses who stands in the front. Ironically many of woolies STAFF have told me they have problems with her also. Give that job to a person who deserves and appreciates it.
Decent place to shop, good cafe and bakery nearby as well.
Only downside is it isn't very well kept and not as clean as I would like, but those problems probably stem from being the main shopping area in town.
I prefer the Delacombe town centre but it doesn't offer as broad a range of shops, yet.
You can be sure Woolworths Central will offer you great customer service. They also have a great range of products and budget friendly.
They can't even answer a telephone call as I wanted to find out if they had it in stock very poor and if there was a score lower than one they would have it.
Fix the car park! Close the front few rows for a week or two, level them out and stop just patching the pot holes.
Looked up an item on the Woolworths website. There was no indication that stores may not stock the item. Drove to the store where staff advised me that don't carry the item. Why not tell people that the item may not be in all stores, rather than have them drive to a store for nothing? I note that I have never had this issue with Aldi.
It's certainly a level up on the Coles next door in terms of staff and customers. The food is still pretty expensive though. Nice bakery and deli section. I'm not sure why some aisles are organised the way they are.
