Wow, what a fantastic set up. Great meals and a great play area for the kids and an even greater Gem shop, the staff were very helpful, I wanted a bracelet but did not have one in my size but they made one for me, just great.

Free entry, very informative and entertaining demonstrations on gems and jewelly (thnks ChrisW), cheap jewellery to buy, great food.and a difficult maze for kids and adults alike to try out. Spent over 2.5 hours there and had a good time.

Great place to entertain the kids for a while and feed the family with good food which is more than reasonably priced. Coming back!

Had a fantatic day! My husband and i did the maze, 45mins later, we got out without cheating, sooo much fun. Saw chris give denos on how rings are made and stones are cut, he has so much info in his head, its amazing. Cave was beautiful too. We bought our 10yr anniversary rings there, very reasonable prices and different than commercial shops. Lovely people who own/work there, we had the best day.

Relaxing afternoon tea party spent by the warth from the wood fire. Delicious sandwiches and homemade slices served by super attentive staff. All our needs met with warm smiles. Highly recommend Woodsies.

What a gem! This stunning family collection of gems and precious stones surpasses many larger public science museums. Lovely adjacent family run cafe with vegan and vegetarian options (didn’t try yet) and an outdoor small playground and large maze (yet to try). Well worth the visit!

This is a must see! Allow 2-3 hours to look at all the amazing things here. The jewellery is beautiful. Its also reasonable compared to jewellers but certainly not lacking in quality or craftsmanship. Its beautiful. Then there is the gem Cave. This again is fabulous and very well done. The presentation is fabulous. They have rocks in their raw state and polished next to it, crystals etc from all over the world. It took my friend and I over an hour just to admire the Gem Cave alone. Then there is the cafe, a fascinating atmosphere, good coffee, and fabulous homemade carrot cake. There is a maze and play equipment outside for the kids. This is a place for mums, dads, kids, grandma, etc. Everyone will get pleasure from this place. You will really be fascinated and enjoy the experuence

Spent the day here with my girlfriend and another couple! I found it really fun actually getting lost in the maze and trying to cheat my way through everything possible. The food here was pretty good also and the prices were fair aswell! Great spot for someone with kids or a birthday party ect

Has excellent food for lunch. Unique range of gemstones you wont find in many other places. You would think by the age of 40 and 5 previous visits i would know how to find the exit in the maze here. But no, still got lost for about 40 minutes

Awesome place to visit and take the kids for a day out, desperately needs a revamp though as it very out dated and has been the same since I was a young child has has not alot of natural light which I'd very uninviting.

Haven't been here for a year and a good thing has happened, decent food at a great price. Cheese burger and chips $6, snitz burger chips and salad $10 and lots more. The food is restaurant quality, the pattie in the cheese burger is sooo tasty and the snitz burger is huge, try and finish it. As far as the rest of Woodies goes it will probably take about an hour or less to have a good look around, there's something for everyone. Worth the visit or revisit!

Very interesting, met Woodsie himself, who has lots of interesting stories. Make sure you go into Alladins cave. Well worth the $2, no price increase since I first visited in the 1990s!

Love this shop, so much to see and do, and buy ofcourse. With the cafe incorporated, it was easy to get something to eat. Also visited Aladdin's Cave, which is full of precious stones. Tried to get through the maze, but got completely lost, lol.
There is even a playground for the kids.
Loved it.
