Woodfrog Bakery reviews
38Guys, did anyone tell you lockdown is over? Why still so strict with your policies? It's not inviting at all.
I had the best croissant in Melb, just the price a bit high but still worth it.also breads are amazing as well. Hardly recommended
The spelt sourdough is in a league of its own. I'm sure everything else is great, too, but we come exclusively for this product.
The best fruit toast around, and because they always take the mask wearing and density limits seriously, I feel confident that they also take hygiene seriously. Thanks for being in the neighbourhood!
This bakery makes delicious bread and pastries. It's a small but very friendly little shop on Barkley st. They have extended out from St. Kilda quite a bit now and you can find their bread in several other suburbs. Well worth looking out for!
Cant fault the bread here, time &time again the breads are divine.
The variety of sourdough & other baked goods are just too good for me to stay on my diet.
This little shop is an institution in St Kilda.
Being the best Hot Cross buns in Melbourne I bought 4 to give as gifts to friends on Sunday. To my disappointment I had been given ones from the edge of the tray, uneven and hard. I will be returning them today.
Woodfrog were very apologetic and replaced them plus some extras.
This is how they should look.
Excellent bread, crunchy crust with a soft doughy sourdough. Missing their sausage rolls and baba ganoush since the kitchen closed with covid. Best sausage roll I had ever had!
I recently went to st Kilda. Out of sausage rolls. Fair enough they are good. The pastries were beautiful as usual. I was disappointed no coffee takeaway. Why?
Is there ANYTHING better than an almond croissant? Love this place, what yummy food. Just need a coffee machine and you won’t be able to keep me away
Best bakery in the area! There was a pretty big line on Sunday morning but staff got through everyone quickly and our coffee's were ready in no time.
The sausage roll is super tasty especially with the chutney. The muffins are delicious too but my highlight would definitely be the coffee - it's such good quality.
Sometimes Bagels are getting smaller than before, the size is not value for the price! I hope you can consistently provide the same products!
Hidden Gem unless you're local! Great tasting product and awesome staff. You want to taste old style bakery products that tingle the tastebuds then this place is for you.
As a local it is such a privilege to have a bakery of this standard. Amazing bread and affordable prices. Keep up the good work Woodfrog
Some of the best bread in Melbourne, just a pity about other customer decisions. I love wood frog bread, but the decision to not accept cash due to "council guidelines" (love to read those, since isn't it states that manage health, and federal commerce?) and then imposing a surcharge on using all eft. Top it off was the queue that was allowed to form whilst the one customer allowed inside had a nice 5 minute chat with the staff. It's 3 degrees outside people, save your chat for another time.
I love this bakery. With a lack of good quality bread in this area, these guys are saving the day! Thanks for doing a great job
This place is absolutely amazing. Bread, pastry everything is so tasty. However is so expensive. Just fo r a great! Love p pumpkin bread so much
Amazing bread and $7 for unlimited toast! What a concept! Toaster at the table, very novel and fun. Have had the shakshuka before as well which is delicious and filling.
