We installed European Oak in April 2021. After a long search, we found Woodcut products appeared to be the best quality, the colour we chose (French Oak) was spot-on. We compared the ply substrate as well as the timber wear surface. A tip to consumers: It's a mammoth undertaking to rip up old flooring, level old concrete slab, lay flooring, only to skimp on quality. The Woodcut staff (Mia) were professional and easy to contact. Woodcut invited us to inspect samples from the specific pallets that arrived on-site since colours and textures vary with any natural product. No doubt it protects Woodcut and the client from any miscommunications. Woodcut provided us with a list of installers should we wish to choose. We chose JConcepts the whole installation process went like clockwork. The installer supplied the slab preparation and organized his contractors from slab prep to installation to fit the project within a time frame that was preferable to us. The flooring looks how we imagined. The floor is level and has stood up to some animals spills which are the worst kind of spillage. The care products that come with the flooring is value for money. You only need to use a small amount as per directions, so I see this lasting a very long time.

The second I walked into the Richmond store, the sales reps were amazing. They listened to my vision of how I wanted the house to look, they understood my style, they grabbed samples to lay on the floor, (they even grabbed light and dark samples so I had a true idea of the colour of floor I wanted including variations) they put it against white paper to imagine it against the white walls. They even held the stock I wanted for 3 days without a deposit until I was able to obtain more accurate measurements. I cannot recommend Woodcut enough. They are so welcoming, they have such good knowledge and such fantastic products at such great prices. Don't look anywhere else! Woodcut, or nothing I say!

We selected the Woodcut beautiful timber flooring after researching many similar products. Ulrica guided me from start to finish and was very attentive to my questions along the way. The Richmond showroom is very well designed and features their entire range of products in a light and airy space, so that you can read the colours in real-time conditions. The ordering process and delivery were straightforward.and most importantly, in the end our floors look very schmick and we are incredibly pleased with our decision.

We selected the Premium European Oak White Oiled finish to sit alongside our Dulux- Natural white painted walls and our 24 year old unit now looks crisp clean and outstanding. Woodcut also carries an online range of aftercare cleaning and maintenance products. Basically a one stop shop. Thank you Ulrica for your wonderful guidance when figuring out which products to go for. I’m certain that our flooring will last for a very long time and provide us with many years of pleasure.

We purchased timber boards at custom length of 1.1m and 1.9m. The 1.1m length boards have about 70% board with knots some knots are too dark (black) to use and variance in colour appears with greater tone range of warm to cold (yellow to grey). 1.9m boards are more consistent in colour and have 10% knots.

Our floorboards look amazing. We selected pale oak and opted for the wider board, and glad we did. While we think the product is fantastic, some credit must be given to the installers who took the time to discuss the arrangement of the boards.

We are delighted with the look of our new engineered timber floor in Roman Grey that we purchased from Woodcut in Richmond Victoria and had expertly installed by Gregory Jefferson Flooring. Everyone admires the attractive natural woodgrain surface which is highlighted by it’s low sheen UV oil finish. The product is a pleasure to live with being low slip, durable and very easy to keep clean.
