Womersley's Mitre 10

I visited here and went to the gardening section which had old netting scattered on the roof. In it there was dead and dying birds that had become trapped. It was so distressing! When I spoke with staff and messaged management about this concern they didn't seem to care, saying that it was too expensive to remove. This means that more birds will become trapped and die, often languishing in the netting for days! Disgusting and cruel! I will never attend this store again and would recommend anyone that cares about living beings suffering to do the same!

Chris is a legend. Not only he found the right part for me, he kindly helped me to assemble the whole thing. It's really helpful, because I've got a broken finger at the moment, and I'd be struggling otherwise

Stopped by today for the first time, every staff member I came into contact with was very friendly.
I initially stopped to have a look at the garden section, it's great, just some sections of plants looked very sad/dead.
Will return next time I'm in the area

Every time I have visited the store they have been incredibly helpful, with the professional trades people there. Needed advice on a cassette for a mixing tap cartridge, and tap washers and seals.

Convenient for me, ok range of products. The girl that works the checkout on Saturday mornings could use some practice at customer service though.

A long trip to Womersleys for a product I couldn't get elsewhere. Found the floor staff and cashier unfriendly, no customer empathy, look elsewhere next time. A smile and friendly attitude would help, they must know I help to pay their wages. Spent $100 for this experience.

What a great place for hardware? First thing that hit us was how helpful the staff were. We were directed to the area of need and we were met by a staffer as well. Prices are competitive and good brands are stocked. Such a great change to the Red and green!

It may seem smaller than another brand of hardware store but I was looking for a specific size nut and bolt and Wolmersley Mitre 10 is the place that has it. Friendly staff and a great range.

Pathetic website. Does not display a huge amount of items that the store stocks. Very difficult to navigate.

Went to mitre 10 during lockdown. Upon arrival I noticed that staff members were preoccupied in dealing with numerous click and collect customers. A staff member named Matt stopped what he was doing and gave me the time of day to be of service. I was quite surprised that he was flexible enough to help me with my purchase, as I did not use click and collect. He then gave me the phone number for the store and I proceeded to order the items that I needed. The level of transparency between staff members made work light, speeding up the process. A delightful lady named Lisa came out and completed my transaction. It was a relief that I did not have to turn back empty handed and I am very thankful to all staff members for contributing in finding a solution.

Very good store, staff are attentive, James was very helpful he gave me a hand getting my timber when it wouldn’t fit on the trailer. Well worth a visit

Not as good as Bunnings but closer to my home. Hard to find anything as the layout is a bit weird and the service is average just like Bunnings.

Went to mitre 10 Chelsea heights today to buy timber i couldn't be more happy with the excellent service i received from the young boys in the timber department fantastic service they even loaded it in my car, totally different service from Bunnings moorabbin

Overall much more attentive customer service and advice than the other large hardware store down the road. However variety and pricing not always competitive, so end up only coming here for small odds and ends as it is more local.

Small compared to Bunnings. Had the worst display of plants I've seen in a long time: sad unhealthy looking and very small range to choose from.

Found what I was looking for, service was great, helpful staff, good prices. Will shop there again.

Like this mitre 10. Great easy access. Got most things I need. Very pleasant helpful staff. You get great advice from paint section.
