Windmill Gardens Reception

On behalf of my wife Sheraiah and myself, I would like to thank David and Sophie so much for making our day so special. You helped make our day so calm, peaceful and absolutely perfect. We fell in love with Windmill the moment we laid eyes on it. Windmill is like a hidden piece of paradise. The grounds are absolutely stunning for photos. You don't need to travel anywhere when you are on such a beautiful property!

All our guests were thoroughly impressed by the ambience and decor. It is truly the perfect venue for intimate weddings like ours. Thank you so much for being so responsive to our emails and accommodating to all our needs, especially during the tough times of CoVid.

We love you guys and just wanted to thank you for making our day so special and so us!

For functions and special occasions, this is the place to look for! We’ve used Windmill Gardens multiple times in the last 4 years, and David and his team never failed us! They are professional, lovely, and the food is something you’ll remember for a very long time. Good job guys

Being invited to a wedding at windmill made me want to have my wedding again from how beautiful the venue is.

Was to do my catering was great even if I travel 2hr to get there but I was oof when I see the place

David and Marika were the most lovely and accommodating people. They were super helpful and quick to answer any questions we had.

The place is really beautiful at first sight!

But it does have a few things that can be noticed when you get too close.

The windmill on the back is broken, some bits of the paths near the lake were old wood as well.

But that doesn't take away how beautiful the place is!

Best experience and highly recommend. Organised baptism party for my son and it was one of the best experience in 2020. From day one when I called to enquire about the event to completing it, the whole experience was just amazing. STEFAN AND SOPHY were so good, you can’t ask for any better people to manage the event. Very polite and well organised.
The venue is breathtaking. Even the guests were so happy that few of them were already talking about having some of their events at windmill gardens.
Would love to come back again anytime.

Beautiful springtime wedding venue with good food and nice gardens. Lots of free parking for guests.

Been passing by this place for 10 years and finally had to stop by.the place is fabulous.greenery and landscapes are well made.good for photos if your a tourist.

Pleasant venue with plenty of photography opportunities to fill time with in event recesses. Very good ambience and scenery. Table staff service was excellent.

The best reception in Melbourne with an ambiance that cannot be found anywhere. The owners were absolutely lovely to deal with and made planning our wedding easy and exciting. Everything was catered to our vision and I just cannot compliment The Windmill gardens enough. Our wedding day was just magic! Photos in their garden at sunset are just priceless, food was amazing, the lay out was comfortable for dancing with 180 guests and intimate too. Everything was delivered to us and our guests with the upmost quality.

A massive thank you to David, Sophie, Marika and Julia! I had my wedding here last month and it was truly the best night ever. We have never met such accommodating and down to earth people. Everything about the experience was memorable. We are still getting so many compliments on the venue and food, the never ending food. Thank you so much for making our day so special and one to not forget. Highly recommend Windmill Gardens, such a beautiful venue with amazing staff!

We had Father’s Day lunch today. It was an absolutely amazing experience. Food was delicious. Service is second to none. Highly recommend.

Great experience. I had driven past thousand times but never knew such a wonderful place exist around the windmill. Venue need to give some offers to locals so that they get to see and experience the place and become ambassador to invite visitors from other places.

Nice and peace place for wedding and day trip, food is delicious too. But not high heels friendly! So many gaps! LOL

Recently had my wedding at Windmill Gardens. It was absolutely perfect. The food was amazing, nothing was dry or overcooked, it was all cooked to perfection and tasted great. The team at Windmill Gardens ensured that everything ran smoothly on the night so I didn't have to stress or worry about a thing. I could not recommendation Windmill highly enough. The set up is gorgeous and the gardens are beautiful. Thank you to David and the family at Windmill Gardens, everything you did for us is most appreciated.

We’ve had the pleasure of chauffeuring many a bride and groom to the beautiful Windmill Gardens over the years, and the team there are nothing short of wonderful! Such a stunning, magical and unique venue. The facilities are first class and the grounds are immaculate. We are always absolutely delighted to have our cars photographed on the premises (see attached photo by Focus Film). We would recommend Windmill Gardens to anyone wishing to hold their reception or special event there - you won’t be disappointed!

Thanks David & Sophie for the wonderful night on my wedding day on 9th Sept 2017, the place was lovely with great view.

The food was good & generous. I was lucky to use the newly dance floor they done up before our wedding. We chose the place rather than others as my hubby family is Dutch we just love the windmill building, looks so unique and special to us and family.

My family from Singapore keep praising about the place, the lightings made the places effect looks so magical. We had made a right choice for choosing this place.

The team at Windmill Gardens were fantastic. The customer service, food, location and venue were in a class of its own a highly pleasant experience.

The owners and staff were really great, everyone loved the venue, with family and friend’s feedback on food and service being absolutely amazing making atmosphere perfect for my sister’s wedding.
