Windmill Gardens Reception

I have eaten here a few years back and and we were happy with the food and service provided to us. I went there recently whilst driving past I stopped to take photographs. The gardens are beautiful and very well kept, the windmill is just amazing, I will be going there for a meal with friends soon.

We had our Wedding on the 26th of August 2023. We could not be more happier with Dave and the team at the Windmill Reception. They bent over backwards for us and we could not have asked for any more. The night was great the food was sensational and the atmosphere was fantastic. Highly recommend for anyone planning a wedding.

We got married 20 yrs ago at Windmil. After 20 yrs it was an honour and a privilege to renewal our vows at Windmill. What a pleasure it was seeing the owners again after 20yrs. Everyone had a fantastic day and loved seeing Windmill again with all the memories Thank you so much for a wonderful day

I could not recommend this venue more! If you’re looking for a venue that will put you at ease through the planning process and beyond impress your guests, this is the place to book. When we did a venue walk through, we fell in love instantly.

We and our guests were beyond impressed with the service and the quality of food, there was not one meal that did not exceed expectations, the pork especially was incredible and something out of a fine dinning restaurant. The wait staff were so nice and attentive to everything. We never once asked for top ups as our drinks were re-filled before anyone could notice they were low which is a testament to how attentive and generous the venue is.

Our guests were raving about the service and the venue as a whole, they loved the pristine gardens especially.

This place is absolutely amazing. Great for Weddings Christenings, Birthday's or any other special occasion. The service & food was great. I give this place 7

As beautiful as the venue is we were terribly disappointed with the service of the staff at our daughter's wedding. They were more interested in watching the ceremony and taking photos of the bride rather than serving the guests. The feedback from our guests at our daughter's wedding was a source of embarrassment for us especially after what we spent on the wedding. I hope this feedback will encourage them to give better training to staff or hire better staff especially since we paid extra for staff service.

Exquisite wedding venue! We had the best night thanks to David, Sofie, Stefan, Marika who were very accommodating, helpful and friendly. The venue is gorgeous, the food was excellent (the steak was perfect, tumbs up to David), the service was prompt and friendly. We only heard positive feedback from our guests. From the first time we saw the venue and talked with Stefan we knew it's meant to be. We highly recommend Windmill Gardens!

One of my favourite wedding venues, David and Sophie really know thier weddings, and having the pleasure to work as an MC and DJ is always a great at windmill Gardens.
I highly recommend them for your next wedding or function.

Attended an amasing Wedding at Windmill Gardens. Perfect backdrop for the garden ceremony, beautiful at any angle for photos. Perfect ceremony and only continued throughout the the day: - canapes in the garden, delicious meal from course to course, beautiful fireworks with the lake as a backdrop.amasing. Magical

Went here for a wedding. Very cute place! For somebody who doesn't have a car, it's still accessible (only a 12 min uber ride from Watergarden Station)

Lovely atmosphere with gardens and water features. Chapel is very sweet for weddings. Not a good spot though in high heat. No aircon in chapel. Lovely staff and stunning area for a reception. Just 2 potential issues; one hot day in chapel (No air con) and not a lot of people for in the chapel, so check if the guests coming are accommodated well.

My wife and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at this venue. The outside is a very green
and beautiful well-maintained garden and interior of the reception was perfect (we didn't really need to add or decorate much). Food was great and this was confirmed by our guests. David and Sofie were wonderful to work with and can't recommend this place enough. Staff also provide great service throughout the night.

Just want to say a huge thank you for the fantastic service we receive at our son Glenn’s wedding when he married Stephanie, on Friday, it has been a hard year for everyone, we all had a fantastic time on Friday, the food was absolutely divine, and your staff are all fantastic, the venue looked stunning and we would all highly recommend to anyone to certainly consider the Windmill for any events they might be planning, once again a huge thank you from the bottom of our hearts, you made it such a special night that they will never forget.
