The worst experience ever. Property manager keep changing.not considerate and not responsible.

We've been renting through Woodards for a year now and they have been so great! Our new property manager Joshua Sulit has also been awesome with getting back to us promptly and helping us out! Thank you

Absolute schemozzle of an outfit.

I’m a Housing rental provider/landlord.
Strong initial meet-up with business development manager, Promptly hand balled to another employee.

They provided referral to a rental property compliance checking agency. I trusted their assurance that the rates were competitive, but found them to be 100’s of dollars more expensive after the fact (assessed compliant).

Manager couldn’t grasp basic admin instructions via multiple email chains.

Property is in a multi-storey complex. On a seperate occasion, A roof leak was reported in unit below me. I’m on good terms with them and told the manager multiple times I could attend and provide access to the lower unit if a time was given to me. Manager organised plumber to attend without communicating with me, plumber could not access the unit below and I was charged anyway.

On a seperate occasion, Manager failed to advocate for rental providers position in financial disagreement with tenant on the back of quickly remedied but unplanned gas issue.

During this gas issue, Manager organised multiple tradies to attend to provide multiple assessments of the same issue attracting 100’s of dollars each, wasting further money when the first detailed assessment could be passed on to fulfil the quoting process.

I left, weeks later, these old managers provide multiple arrears notices for trades they organised to complete works months ago.

New manager notifies me that woodards did not get tenants to sign condition report and stored limited colour photos of the true condition of the property.

Stayed for less than a year with these dudes, was probably too long.

Edit: Response to Woodards South Yarra’s response.
Big call to allege a fake review, and convenient to put the onus on a reviewer to put their own personal details on the internet to validate their experience.
Puts into question the businesses ability to accept responsibility for their own poor management from the top down, but it sounds like Brock has skipped the submission of the landlord exit report as well.

As an investor, I really appreciated the dedicated personal service given by Rebecca Cleaver in my search for a property in the Sth Yarra area. Rebecca made the effort of attending openings together with me to fully understand my personal requirements as well as providing advice on compliance and potential returns of each particular property. Once a purchase was made, Rebecca had the foresight to be able to secure a tenant in advance of settlement for a seamless transition. Amazing service! I can't recommend her highly enough.

Highly recommended. Ed and his team at Woodards have been brilliant - knowledgeable and hard working, their expertise has put me at considerable ease. He continually went above and beyond and was able to secure a wonderful result for the sale of my property. I would highly recommend chatting to Ed if you are considering a sale of your own property.

Madlen has been such a gem to work with. Our lease started off a bit bumpy with a different property manager but since Madlen took over the management, she's made it enjoyable for the rest of the time. We loved dealing with her for all matters with transparency and promptness, if it was not because of our growing need for a bigger space, we wouldn't have left.

Ultimate professional. Luke came to me as a highly recommended professional. From my very first interaction with Luke he was super responsive, unquestionably honest and direct in his advice. At all stages through the process Luke gave me clear pathways to choose from and at all stages I felt like I was in good hands. The process of selling or buying can be very stressful and Luke made the process as smooth as practically possible. I rarely recommend people to my personal network but Luke will be my first call for me and my network for all things property.

Sale: Edward was super friendly and communicative. He was knowledgable about the property in question and the general process of buying a first home. He was also willing to answer any and all questions that were sent his way.

Rental: Rebecca was amazing to work with in leasing out my apartment. She was super friendly and excellent at communicating, both in person and over the phone. She was knowledgeable about everything related to the process, and gave great advice throughout. I was very happy with the final result, and couldn’t have done it without Bec!

We dealt with Sean Evans from Woodards. Sean was responsive and knowledgeable and very fair during the negotiations for our purchase. I trusted the information provided and was very happy to have got the property at the price we did. Having bought and sold a few properties I can definitely recommend Sean as an agent for his professionalism, presentation and relationship skills.
