White Village Greek Tavern

We're regulars at this very unpretentious but superbly delicious Greek restaurant. We just keep coming back. No more said!

We have been going to White Village for over 15 years. It's as authentic as you can get when it comes to Greek Cuisine. The only thing I would recommend is go with an empty belly as the portions are big.

Costa is the most authentic Greek chef in Melbourne. He will personally come to your table to see if everything is delicious. Which it is. I am lucky to live locally to this gem. Best Greek food ever.

We had the "small" banquet for $35 a head, it wasn't small and was all delicious, especially the saganaki, calamari and meats. Traditional style decor. Great service

Nothing special. Food was ok, fresh, but menu very simple, probably too simple for this type of establishment and prices they charged. We were served quick, probably because we had banquet menu. But plates were leaving table very quick as well, even before we managed to empty them up. I would not discourage to visit this place, but just to let everyone know what to expect.

Great service and the girls do their best. Shame about the lengthy wait for mediocre, overpriced food.

Beautiful owners, beautiful food. After struggling to find a Greek tavern that is open for lunch on Sundays I got in contact with the lovely owners of White Village and they were beyond accommodating. Not only were they more than happy to open for our extended family group, but they were flexible with the menu and so helpful. The food was plentiful and packed full of flavour and I cannot recommend the restaurant more highly. Thank you again to White Tavern - our family, including the 60th birthday boy, were very impressed.

Perfect food and dancing! We loved the food and we totally loved doing the Zorba with the owner. He was awesome! We had a really good time. Thanks for the hospitality, we'll be back very soon!

Came here for my birthday and enjoyed the atmosphere and service. I quite enjoyed the food and selection in the buffet. I would come here again for a birthday or special occasion but probably not for a date night with the wife. Very friendly table service.
