White Oaks Saloon Bar & Dining

Overpriced but granted good tasting food. Staff were inattentive. But had a great cocktail - the mayflower.

My partner and I frequent White Oaks often, but tonight we were served by Clem, he was accommodating, an excellent help and even served us his own special Tequila x Agave shooter. Even though we've had nothing but great experiences here, tonight topped all others. Cheers Clem

Nice spot, very nice floor staff.
Not many cocktails on the menu for the amount of alcohol exposed at the bar.
Good mixes here and there, but nothing crazy good.

We went during lockdown for a takeaway cocktail and both ordered something from their cocktail menu. While the drinks looked pretty, we both took one sip and immediately had to spit them back into our cups. Mine tasted like dish soap and my friend's had chickpea juice in it which overpowered the whole drink. A real shame for the price. We had to chuck them in the closest bin. Hope they can fix this as the barman was very friendly!

I really wanted to like this place because of the cuisine and dish offerings, the aesthetic etc. The owner is friendly but anti mask. I would have overlooked this had the food been good, instead they are continuing ritzy bar prices for takeaway food that has none of the quality. For $12, you can get a very expensive box of corn chips with no guacamole and bottle-quality salsa. The other dishes were very bland. I tried this place on numerous occasions hoping it would have some good dishes. Food was also delivered cold and in tiny portions as mentioned by another reviewer

We ordered online during lockdown and the delivery portions are absurd for the prices. This jambalaya cost $22 and the chimichangas $16. We couldn't be more annoyed.

What a great little find! Delicious food, highly recommend the ribs and the jalapeno poppers! Great sized servings, cutest atmosphere, love the decor and mood lighting. Service was unbelievable, how server was sooo friendly and helpful! 10/10!

The bar tender or the only person the shop was amazing! He got all our food right and make our drinks! Omg I did not know this place exists. My fav is the whisky sour and the sliders! Gonna be back just for drinks and happy hour! Thumbs up.oh and the fries is yummy Hahahha

Wow! How have I not heard of this place before? The food, drinks and service were all amazing. We ordered a good selection of items off the menu and every one of them was delicious. The ambience far exceeded my expectations. It's a fairly small place and the patrons were packed in, but even with a full house we could comfortable communicate across the table without shouting at each other. I'll be going back for sure and wouldn't hesitate to recommend for any occasion.

Loved this place, not always into Americana but this has all the right vibes and all the grand drinks. A definite must stop on your drinking wanders in Prahran.

Sooooooo delish! We've traveled across America and ate a lot of this type of food, and White Oaks nailed it! Super deeeelishh, esp the quesadilla, Buffalo chicken and S'MORES!

If you want to try some amazing small batch spirits and craft beers an learn a thing or 2 from the super knowledgeable staff then check this place out for sure. Great spot for a late night drink and 10/10 friendly banter. Had an awesome time here.

Very nice bar that makes good cocktails and other drinks. Bar tender is very friendly. Also came here for dinner once and the food was good. This place has a nice cosy vibe.
