Westgate Party & Play Centre

Wasted time bringing my daughter here for it to be closed, when online said it was open. Update details online next time when your actually closed.

Had a small get together with friends and kids at Party Hut and so disappointed with the staff and centre. As we set up with some food (which we were so surprised that a play centre like this allowed you to bring your own food) we were told that if we were going to occupy more than 1 table that we would need to pay a fee for the tables as we were a “gathering of people with food” when asked why this is not stated in any of their signage and website they didn’t have a reasonable explanation. The centre was not even busy and even when asked who would be using the table if we weren’t, we were told that “the public” would use them (but we were the public? !). We opted to condense our gathering and just use the 1 table which we weren’t charged with, however another “large gathering” came later and didn’t seem to get the same request that we did.
Explains a lot about this centre.

So filthy and dirty. Rubbish scattered through the playground and can see the dust on the equipment in corners.

We had to make last minute party arrangements on the day due to bad weather. Play hut was very accommodating and the party was a success.

This place was very very dirty and unsafe, do not take your kids here, I wouldn’t take my dog there

Nice enough area. My toddler lived it but it seems like they don't think much of cleaning the area. I got there Saturday morning at opening and it was not clean.

I really wish I could give this place a better rating. It's a great space and it's nice and local for us. But unfortunately it's filthy. The staff do a terrible job at keeping the place clean. I've been literally the first to arrive in the morning and there's lolly wrappers, tissues, bandaids you name it. So disappointing. If they kept it clean I'd take my son at least twice a week.

As part of the party package the birthday child is meant to get a gift and a voucher for free entry on next visit. On the day of the party they forgot to give us those. I got in touch with a manager and she said she was going to drop them off to my house. Some time went buy and i heard nothing i tried to contact her but she never responded to me. Im so disappointed in this. They need to get there act together this is poor customer service and we will not be going here again.

Yuck! What a filthy play centre, don't even waste your time coming here! The staff may be friendly but gee they must be lazy workers. Not one thing looked like it's ever been sanitized or even wiped down. I paid entry & had a proper look around and left within 5 mins. This place should be really be investigated by the health authorities.

The staff are friendly, the equipment is great.
The bad thing is, it is FILTHY. I got here at 9: 45am, and it is dirty like it hasn't even been cleaned after closing or before opening. There are bandaids stuck in very obvious places (would have been noticed if anyone was cleaning) old party blowers littering inside all the play equipment. Thick dirt in all creases and cracks, in between every step and every connection of the equipment, to the point where you can clearly see it hasn't even had just a general spot clean in weeks.
Every surface feels grimy like I'm getting a film of dirt all over my skin and clothes.
I understand it is a playcentre so you can't expect it to be perfectly clean all the time but this is too far. This place isn't being cleaned at all.
