46Loved the interior design (blade runner style) and the service was really good except for the long wait. Food not my style. Complex combination of different styles. Questionable results. I prefer simplicity. Wine not good. Bill very expensive (>250 for two)
Kind staff and great atmosphere. Terrible terrible food. One dish worse than the other. Long wait (2 hours to get to the main dish). It sounds they were waiting for a cluster of orders then serve the fish.
Consistently amazing food, great value, so tasty and beautiful rustic presentation. Friendly and attentive staff. Erin was incredible, she helped us pick a wine to our liking and completely nailed the selection.
Amazing service, ambience, food & drinks great. Can’t wait to go back & highly recommend.
Excellent all round. Cauliflower to die for! Pickled items, Harissa, falafel, corn all fantastic. Great atmosphere
Great staff, friendly and attentive. Food was great, not overly complicated, nice simple homely food
Excellent vibe. Food, cocktails and wine were great. Service was 10/10 thank you to our server tonight, she was an absolute gem.
Highly recommend the cauliflower, brussel sprouts and striploin!
Everything was delicious.
Fantastic food and service at Waygood. We had the “Feed Me” menu and every dish was delicious. Friendly service and relaxed atmosphere. Will be taking more friends here!
Better than the name suggests. Great food, attentive staff and lovely atmosphere. All we’d change is the name, which makes it sound worse than it is.
Incredible selection of wines and very knowledgeable sommeliers with great recommendations!
Booked V-Day dinner. Had some trepidation as one meal was Vegetarian and the other was per the fixed menu. Arrived a few minutes early and met with pleasant greeting and seated promptly. Despite a full house, staff was pleasant and service was good. Menu was as presented prior to evening and all of the dished lived up to expectation, including a good effort on the Veg side. Overall, very positive experience and appreciate Waygood making our Valentine's Day a good evening.
Brilliant! Exceptional service, and equally as impressive food. Can't wait to go back!
Visited waygood twice and loved it both times! Lovely, informative and attentive service, paired with a beautiful venue, delicious food and unique cocktails too in the bustle of swan st.can't go wrong, you wont leave disappointed.on second visit we noticed some portions of the same food were smaller though, but just as delicious! Steak was charred and cooked perfectly both times, and the cheesecake for dessert is seriouslyyyy gooood.thanks waygood, cant wait to come back!
Had a fabulous dinner at energy filled Waygood last night. 3 hours of indulgence - chef Blake Werner and team tantalized our taste buds with butterflied prawns, cheese balls w mustard, pate w delicious accompaniments, carpaccio, oysters, succulent chicken on a bed of skordalia purée finishing off with a blackberry sorbet with secret ingredients - the final touch, when you thought you’d finished the sorbet, a glug of presecco was added to be sipped from the dessert bowl to enjoy the last bit of melted sorbet. Divine. The wine list was another bonus - we settled on a Shiraz from Beechwood - Will track this down for drinking at home. A memorable meal and busy high energy venue. Thank you Waygood
Five of us came to Waygood in Richmond on a Saturday evening for dinner. We ordered a selection of drinks and food. For the shared entree, we got the burrata cheese and focaccia bread which was very moreish. For main meals, we ordered duck wagyu pasta, charcoal grilled chicken and truffle cannelloni. The waiters were very attentive, however we waited about an hour for our main meals to arrive. I would consider this a fine dining experience, because the prices were rather exorbitant. For anyone planning on coming here, expect to spend upward of $40 per head. I also felt that the truffle cannelloni was a very small portion and not adequate for a main meal. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our experience and the food was quite tasty. Thank you very much.
We went here a few months ago, during a warm evening in Richmond.
Absolutely fantastic eclectic aesthetics inside. I adored the sleek vibe this wine bar has to offer. It felt cosy with a hint of suffocation.
We adored the charismatic wait staff and their hospitable service.
The food was divine, while the drinks were also awesome.
Ideally I’d be coming back her for a birthday dinner with a small group of friends to enjoy it with me. 10/10
Short menu of small share plates, then more substantial mains. The menu has a spanish rustic feel to it based on organic produce sourced locally. The food is exceptionally well prepared and presented. Wine list is small but ample choice, great cocktails and spanish beer on tap with selection of packaged craft beers. Very popular so you need to book.
Great little bistro. Very nice food.unobtrusive and friendly service. Had a nice dinner here. Will be back again.
Good food, but terrible service.
Waiter kept hovering around our table after able an hour and half, and one point said "your still nibbling"
