Waves on the Beach reviews
78 So sorry I didn't l
Take a photo, stunning views across the bay, CBD clearly visible on the horizon. Excellent food, great choice of wines and drinks. Definitely will go again.
One of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Stunning location and views, amazing selection of food and supreme service. We booked a table online and were offered to upgrade to outdoor table upon entry (which was very nice and just what we wanted). The guy who served us was very professional and always turned at right time. We had a very lovely time at this place and definitely will be back again!
It was a lovely setting eating and watching the sunset. Place is a little over priced and waiting staff are new i believe and made alot of mistakes. Not just with our food my with other tables around us.
I would give it another go in the future as fish and chip where ok
Delicious food and amazing view and friendly staff, definitely we will come back
It is very recommended to take lunch or dinner there
Jenna and the team went above and beyond to give me and my friends are very enjoyable night watching the sunset on the deck! Thanks again
Steak was nice, unfortunately the potato rostie that came with it was soggy and didn't have the slightest bit of crispness to it. Tasted like leftovers. This and multiple meals sent back. Very disappointed. Won't be back.
High quality restaurant on the Frankston foreshore. Great food, and spectacular Port Philip views. On a good day the Melbourne CBD is visible. Highly recommend.
Dined at the Waves tonight. Ordered Fettucine with seafood and it was made with Singapore noodles rather than fettucine. Unusual combination. Also the mussels were not open and unscrubbed with hair on them. Very disappointing.
Fabulous service A+ food was amazing was beautiful to sit outside, lovely view, not as loud, low lightning though. Had a booking for 8: 30, received our food in about 35mins.
Huge windows overlooking the bay and we could see the sunset even from our table near the back, The staff were professional, attentive without being intrusive, The food was fresh and served in a timely manner. Yes I would visit again.
Food, staff and views were amazing.was our first time to waves on the beach, went with my husband for a quiet lunch on the beach, unfortunately, when we arrived there the place was very noisy.little kids playing around the tables as if in kindergarten. Room is too small to occupy kids, there should be a special room for kids to play.
Came to waves on the beach for lunch we had the flounder, ocean trout and the salmon. The food was amazing!
Went for a second time. I was very happy with the food and service. My new favourite place. Kids meals very generous, affordable and fulfilling.
Excellent service, amazing staff, great views.
Unfortunately, food was very bland, with almost no flavour. Arrancini balls lacked flavour and texture. Asked for medium rare porterhouse steak, was served well done instead. Chicken parma was burnt and dry.
Other than that, alcoholic drinks are well made and the restaurant provides a comfortable environment.
Amazing service and even better food. Perfect for a romantic seafood dinner by the sea. Great views over the ocean but this place would still be enjoyable in a dingy basement because the service and food is just that good. Definitely a perfect date spot in frankston
Cold scollopini which took over an hour to come.and it was cold, plus salty.
Not much table service.
Beautifully located sadly 'could ' be alot better.
Overall this is one of the nicer restaurants in frankston. The atmosphere is semi casual and the views are amazing. Plenty of parking however during summer this is taken up by beach goers.
Pro:
Service was prompt and staff were helpful. Food was nice but not special. Tables were clean. Bathrooms were neat and clean.
Con:
Noise inside was horrific. Food overpriced. Wine list was average and overpriced.
I would come again though so it is worth a try.
Amazing location and atmosphere. The staff are lovely and extremely helpful for those unsure on what to have. Prices are amazing and food quality/selection is amazing. Definitely a 10/10
Excellent food selection, beautiful views, extremely affordable for a dinner of 6 & delicious food. Downfalls; no take away option for leftovers with large meals leaves for a lot of wasted food, also the lunch only menu would have been my perfect meal for dinner. Staff came across as quite rude when requesting a doggie bag so 4 stars this time round.
My partner and I organised our wedding function at Waves on the Beach. We honestly could not have been happier with how things turned out.
The venue was wonderful, the staff were very friendly and exceptional with their service, the food was plentiful and tasted amazing, and the view was breathtaking.
I highly recommend Waves on the Beach for any type of function.
Thank you guys again for making our night wonderful and memorable.
Beautiful food and setting overlooking the bay. Caters for lots of different dietary requirements. Staff were fantastic and the desserts were amazing.
