Waves on the Beach reviews
78We had a lovely lunch.vegan and gluten free options on the menue and beautifully situated.overlooking the sea. Staff were efficient and friendly.
Beautiful position and great view of the sea!
Delicious calamari. The only problem is very noisy
at the lunch time. I didn’t try the dinner there yet.
Service is also very good.
Staff were great food very good and portion sizes were good great views and good service. I will defently be going back.
Food was very tasty & fresh. Wait for food at the outdoor bar was longer than normal but staff were suitably apologetic and we didn’t leave with a bad feeling like we might have if she hadn’t put in the extra effort. Enjoyed the fish & chips.
Took my Mother there for lunch today on her 94th Birthday.
Perfect weather, location & food.
Thank you Jenna & staff for making it a memorable day.
If your looking for a great place to dine in Frankston, GO THERE.
Great location, good service (very busy), good food (a delicious, great sized Anti pasto platter) at reasonable prices
The bruschetta was a little disappointing but the arrincini balls were lovely. Reasonable price and amazing beach views!
Not as great as it seems. Good view with nice breeze. Ordered ice coffee, was a little disappointed. Its just ice and coffee no flavour. Their pasta was flavourless. Basically everything i had that day was blant
Such a romantic place. We were blessed to get a table outside overlooking the ocean and VIP seats to a breathtaking sunset.
Shout out to Jen Jen and Levz! Excellent service and they were very professional and great looking. 10/10
Have not been for some time, view lovely as always coffee was good, food also, but not as good as I remember. Staff excellent however affogato disappointing, not nearly enough icecream in proportion to the coffee.
Food was very good, everyone enjoyed their meals.
One who is something of a Parmigiana aficionado said this Parma was well made and he could tell the sauce was not straight from the jar like other places seem to be. The fish and chips were crispy and fresh.
The barramundi was also very good and had a high quality arrangement of Ingrediants, however did also come with a lot of oil which perhaps was intentional, and if so, could be optional. Deserts and coffee was nice, although the chocolate lava cake was actually more akin to a mini bundt cake with chocolate syrup poured into the hole and costed $13 (probebly not worth it). Meals ranged from $25-35 (ish), view could not be beat and the service was friendly.
Overall, its worth coming here if you have had your eye on it.take the leap:)
Very hard to fault Waves Restaurant. Fantastic location right on the beach with stunning views out over the ocean from almost every seat in the house. Pleasant décor inside and lots of glass to see outside.
Enough on the menu to satisfy all our tastes including wines and the shared platter was certainly a generous size.
Plenty of parking right outside and other parks within a very short walk.
Attentive service, reasonably priced food with a brilliant view. One of the few restaurants boasting true beachside frontage. If it's a warm day be prepared for heavy sun exposure in the evening. Fine during lunch
Good atmosphere, little pricey. Wanted to purchase a cocktail in a glass but you can only guy in a 500ml Jug. The batter on the Fish and Chip was extremely salty that caused a little nausea. We advised the waitress with no response or adjustment from our bill.
Had great experience the two young waiters working there were a breath of fresh air they were great fun the food was great and the views were amazing well done waves
Fairly good pub style food but you go for the outlook over the beach rather than the food. Alas, we went on a hot day so we had to park a km away and diners near the windows demanded the blinds were pulled down to avoid heat and glare. It defeated our reason for going. Great on a non-beach day.
Sat at the outside area round the back, good seating, lots of shade and even a seating area with beanbags.
Staff were excellent.
Food is very reasonably priced-had fish and chips and the Lamb Cigars, both were excellent-coffee was very good too.
Comes served in a wood tray, with little paper packs with wooden knife and fork and napkin-food is served in little boxes.
Very highly recommend a visit, and would definitely go back when down there again
One word YUM. Everything you could want in a restaurant. Divine ocean views and exquisite food at great prices. We ordered the vegan burritos, oh so delicious. Surprised my meat eating friends with that delicious jackfruit. Can't wait to come back soon!
Nice place to have a meal at reasonable prices. When we asked to move to another table because of a cool breeze coming through the door, they relocated us. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend.
