My son was woken by his puppy this morning and was scratched in the eye. He was in a lot of pain and after calling three doctors in the area, who couldn't see him and only recommended he go to the hospital (probably a 3 hr wait in emergency), we rang Watsonia Optical. Janice was fantastic and arranged an appointment with Jeremy the optometrist to see him at 10.30 this morning. He had a good look at his eye and confirmed that the puppy had indeed scratched through two layers in his eye. He arranged with the local chemist to get some antibiotic drops (not available over the counter) and instructed him an its use along with drops to keep his eye lubricated. He should take it easy for a couple of days otherwise he should be fine. He also made a check up appointment for 1st thing next Tuesday (before his usual opening hours). Both Janice & Jeremy were very professional and compassionate, along with a great sense of humor. We are fairly new to this area and after one visit we can highly recommend their services Also as we his parents who both wear glasses we know where we will book in for our next eye tests.

I went there few weeks ago to recheck my eyes. Found a smiley optometrist over there who had extra expertise in his job.

Jeremy is an exceptional Optometrist. It is evident he has enormous passion for helping people and for Optometry.
He went above and beyond to ensure I understood my options and the health of my eyes.
His wit and sense of humor are worth the visit alone. He is still living in the 80s, and I doubt will ever make it to 2020 ;)

What an amazing experience we had here. I took my 6 year old daughter for a routine eye test with Jeremy. He was amazing. He made her feel comfortable, was very thorough and gave me things to look out for in the future to indicate possible changes to her vision. I would highly recommend going to see him!
