Waterfall Gully Take Away & Fish & Chips

The grilled fish, potatoe cakes and dimmy’s were excellent. The chips not so much; limp and soggy not crisp

After they had been closed due to lack of staff they reopened thought we'd give it a go. The hamburger I had was terrible the burger was dry and tough and my husband had scallops one was raw and the other overcooked.
Such a shame but we won't be back.

Oil was clean oil, fish was good, great batter, good variety of sauces and $1 each is a very good price.
However, fired calamari was a disappointment. It’s blended calamari then shaped into ring shape. Chips was not cooked properly or maybe wrong type of potato…

Very reasonable prices and current on web sites (not like many other places). Hamburgers were great. Our first time but will differently go back. Give it a go.

Fish n chips is a great Australian pastime and boy oh boy this little bad boy hit the spot! Had a classic little combo of flake (perfectly battered and tasty) potato cake (crispy af and delicious) dim sim (can’t go wrong) and a very generous $5 worth of golden, crispy and perfectly salted chips. I count myself lucky that I live in close proximity to this beauty. Staff were super friendly and pumped my order out so quickly! Lovvvved ittt.

Only complaint is they are too busy! Lol so really good for them but bad on the wait time! Great food

Fish was raw in the middle. I imagine what they are using is frozen garbage. Avoid this place, the people who run it have clearly given up.

Fish and chips are always on point here just a shame the place as a whole is so run down looking.

Awesome! After waiting for 2 weeks, this shop finally opened, and I can eat the familiar fish and chips again

Drive 3.5 kilometers, come here to eat burgers and fried fish, the taste is great, the price is cheap, will come again

Over cooked.warm.wrong order.greasy taste when eating.not enjoyable.
Ordered 2 Pieces of flake, 1/2 serve chips, 4 potato cakes, 4 steamed dim sims.received 2 pieces flake, 1/2 serve chips, 3 dim sims, 2 potato cakes, 2 battered franks. $25.30
Order’s are not consistent.save your money and taste buds.buy a box of frozen fish and a bag of frozen chips.would be more enjoyable.

Stay away from this place, ie my order got given to someone else, waited further 15 min to get remade then gave my hamburger to another customer when I questioned him he ran brushing past me during social distancing, called the customer back and was going to give it to me after being multi handled
Same person then swore at my wife telling her to get fckn life and hung up in her ear. They’ve been reported to the police, COVID-19! Taskforce and health dept.

Such a bad experience witnessed whilst waiting in shop- this is how they treat their customers!

After this person was waiting over 45 mins in shop (for a phone order that’ was advised to be only 15 mins wait time-) arriving in shop was told “ wasn’t ready - (fair enough) BUT then to have been waiting 45 mins - and still to be told “order still not ready” - despite checking THREE times - asking if order ready yet - being told” NO STILL NOT READY- “Then on last check (4th time) was told” it was ready 15 mins ago” - understandably he got annoyed - took order home to Find it very soggy and limp- takes it back for refund then owner/ manager tells staff to “TELL HIM TO F*#€k off and give him his money back “! In front of other customers waiting (aprox 6)

NOT acceptable! - regardless of our COVID19 situation- they are still in business - where others don’t have this luxury! BAD BUSINESS DECISION! We won’t be coming back- pretty sure he won’t be either!

Good fish and chips. But they need an answering machine to let people know to let people know they're busy. I almost gave up because I thought they were closed.

Edit and one star reduced: they weren't busy, I think someone just left the phone off the hook, either because they forgot or because they wanted to go home early.

This place definatly have a great value of food, it also have a very good sevice, i would definitely come back here again

Good classic fish and chip shop. Quick and bloody awesome chips. $17 lunch for two pack was good value.

Food was incredibly bad. Undercooked, oily and no salt. It seems like they didn't have the oil up to a correct temperature.

Love this fish and chips shop it was the best I’ tasted, it also has a very great value also has took me back to my childhood
