Amazing, great service, helpful and friendly. I'd bought a first time bike for my son's 4th birthday and it required tools I didn't have. Luckily Marcus could do it in a few days. Unsurprising he has 5 star reviews, very deserved!

Seriously? How is it I've not reviewed this fantastic bike shop before? When I bought a house in Montmorency nearly 20 years ago the only people who new the suburb were cyclists. They would all say "oh, Montmorency there's an awesome bike shop there". Considering the shop at the time was nowhere near a major bike path or popular road ride that's pretty impressive. Many years later I decided I wanted to do a Great Victorian Bike Ride and so I naturally headed to see Marcus at Walker's Wheels. Being a complete scaredy cat, a bit overweight and not having ridden a bike much in 20 years I was a bit anxious. Not to mention knowing nothing about bikes. Marcus asked me what kind of riding I wanted to do and my budget and I soon had a bike ready to go. During the process Marcus provided advice and hilarious tales of riding and his experiences over the years. I still quote a lot of his advice 7 years and 7000kms later when I'm out riding with my women's cycling group. If you are after a bike, advice or maintenance I can not recommend Marcus highly enough.

No surprise Walkers Wheels has so many 5-star reviews. Apart from being a top bloke, Marcus is always ready to impart sage advice and do the best he can to help all customers, probably at times to the detriment of his bottom line. Absolute local legend. Definitely call before you visit.

While serving us out on the street, as per covid regulations, numerous people in vehicles drove past honking their horns and waving which is a positive testament to his reputation in the community.

I have been buying my bikes from Marcus for decades. He is always super helpful and won't sell you just anything. He takes the time to work out your needs and advise the right direction to go. I reckon he knows people's needs as soon as the walk in the door. Experience plus. And a local for the locals.

Marcus provides the most genuine customer service experience of any bike shop I can recall. Knows more than a thing or two about fixing bikes, loves a chat and laugh and won't take you for a ride on price ('scuse the pun). I'm lucky that he's local to me but I'd go out of my way to get to him. Highly recommended.

Been to the bike shop couple of times, from buying helmets, ordering parts, fixing broken spokes, truing wheel etc. Very happy with the services, the only downside is that there is always a wait time on any services, and I may struggle to find a better local bike store if Marcus decided to retire.

The BEST cycle shop I have been to in a decade. Marcus, is honest, industrious, friendly and down to earth guy. He is very friendly and gives really good advices, worth listening to. Prices are really reasonable. Today, Marcus put a new type and tube for my cycle front wheel and charged me only for the tyre (tube and manual labour = free) - such a nice guy. Once you visit this shop, I am sure you won't visit any other shop for repairs.

Suggested by a friend. The only place that had shoes I could fit into in stock and I figure bike shoes are really something you need to be able to try rather than buy blind online. Really friendly and down to earth no nonsense. For me the only problem is that it's on the other side of town.
