The guy that helped me at Vintech today was so incredibly nice, knowledgeable and helped me out of a real bind with my busted vintage camera. Places like this and people like this are rare and I look forward to the next time I inevitably break my camera and get to visit them again.

This place is amazing. Professional camera repair. There is a small stain on the camera, come here to clean Cmos, the store actually free to help me clean, five-star recommended!

My less than 2 year old Canon lens had mould on it from a trip to Indonesia. I was a bit scared my lens was ruined, but luckily they were able to clean it. It was all cleaned in only a few days. Can definitely recommend!

Behind the Yellow Door you will find Marty who provides excellent service - I needed an urgent sensor clean done. Marty was happy to help and did the clean on the timeline advised and at a fair price (no price gouging here!). Both in person and on the phone I have found him personable and engaging. Businesses run like this deserve our patronage.

Brought in my secondhand Canon AE-1 film camera to have the light seals replaced due to a problem with light leaks. Repair was completed within a few days and now working perfectly. Thanks again team!

I had a faulty camera. I thought it was done for and needed to spend thousands to replace it. Took it into Vintech and the friendly people there fixed it and it was a reasonable time frame too. It wasn't expensive to get it fixed also.

To my shock it comes with a 12 month warranty and the cleaned my sensor and outside of the camera too.

I would recommend this camera repair place for all your camera repair needs.

I hope I don't need to get my camera repaid again but if I do I will definitely cone back.

Small nice camera repair shop hidden in one of the older buildings on Lonsdale St; the staff were extremely nice, they took a look at my camera’s issue and told me it’s no biggie and doesn’t require repairs, and didn’t charge me anything for the checkup. All done in 5 mins. What a nice customer service experience!

Best place I've been to for camera repairs/services. I had an issue with my shutter a few weeks back and they did an amazing job. Then more recently I needed a battery for my lightmeter, I tried camera stores all throughout the city and then tried here as a wildcard attempt and they were kind enough to sell me one of theirs. They have a nice range of cameras on display and if I'm ever in need of a new one, will be coming here to buy as I know it'd be properly looked at and I'd be supporting a great business. Cannot recommend this place enough. First time needing to get one of my cameras looked at after the shutter started playing up. I was very stressed and he got it working in no time and was very kind. I dropped into Vintech after I had damaged my lens and also enquired about a sensor clean. The team kindly were about to blow out some broken glass and give me advice on how to clean the rest of it up. They also inspected the sensor on the camera and told me it didn’t require cleaning yet. Very approachable and easy going. I’ll be back for future camera repairs. Thanks!

Vintech literally saved my holiday of a lifetime to Australia by adding a temporary fix to my camera which enabled me to continue to take pictures till I returned home. Thank you Vintech - you were brilliant.

I came to Vintech to have my Cosina CT-1 repaired. The team replaced the light traps, however when I tested the camera it had a fault not previously picked up and not worth repairing.

A few weeks later I replaced the camera and went back to Vintech who replaced the light traps for free as a gesture of goodwill.

I will absolutely be back and am so grateful for the fantastic service. Thank you!

I recently had my camera fixed at Vintech - it was completed quickly and returned fully functioning again. I've no issue with the repair, but was less pleased when I went to pay with my debit card. I was told that there would be a 1.5% surcharge. While, this surcharge is understandable for payments of less than $10, when paying a bill of close to $800, I found this a bit greedy/disrespectful. It was pointed out that there was no surcharge if paying by cash. Hmmmm. I paid by card.
