Village Cinemas Shepparton reviews
34 Purchased my 3 sons student tickets online. They were the same price as the children’s tickets anyway and with my 14 year old being over 6ft I thought it would save any potential problems which could arise from purchasing a children’s ticket. At first they refused to honour the tickets at the door because they didn’t have a student card. Their schools don’t offer them and they are not required to prove anything until they are over the age of 15. They were still denied entry until the manager came down who repeated everything we were already being told. We explained why were opted for the student ticket over the child ticket and that it made no difference because the price was the same. Eventually my kids were allowed in after 10 minutes of disputing the fact that a 14,13 and 11 year old were in fact STUDENTS with or without a card that they’re NOT required to have!
I gave them 1 star for the discount the manager gave my kids on their popcorn and drinks after the headache they caused.
Come here all the time with the family. Place is always clean and staff are friendly. Bit overpriced for good but that's the same everywhere. Would be nice to see a gold class section but other then that it's a good place to see the latest movies.
Only down side to this cinema is how uncomfortable the seats are.
Other than that staff excellent
Popcorn great always clean
Not appealing. Thought it was like the Werribee Time Zone. Very disappointed. Games are old, not very clean. It is old school no cards it's carrying around coins and tickets.
Think the place can do with an upgrade.
Always a good place to go watch the latest released movies. Grown over time and still a great place.
Remember Allie James Photography for all your photography needs around the Goulburn Valley
The seats are too small and cramped, if you have back or neck issues this will mess you up. Sound from club below travels thru the fire exit and into the movie to ruin the atmosphere. Needs a seat and sound proof upgrade. Because this village doesnt have any other option like Lux or Gold Class, at least give the people some better seats. Would much rather sit at home than deal with those seats, worse than a taxi seat.
Fantastic cinemas. Always very clean. We love the vrewards specials and cheap tickets. Staff are lovely too.
Nice and clean.watched the staff actively cleaning all touching surfaces.the best i have seen during covid 19.although. Sonic the hedgehog is not a kids film.nice one Dad (Me)
Very good outstanding cinema theatre. All new movie releases shown at this theatre. Easy accessibility for all the cars as it is located alongside the main road. Easily accessible for the wheelchair entrants. Superb ambience and very good visibility from within the store.
Mostly went to this Cinema for Bollywood ones.which are quite often on screening but sometimes miss good ones which only are put to screen in Metro regions.probably most popular ones should be screened as it gives the local Bollywood lovers a better option of viewing close to their location.
So keep visiting and now spread the word of watching locally!
A great comfy multiplex with the latest in digital projection and audio.its a pity the snacks cost a weeks wages.
Best one is Wangarratta.has everything including resteraunt, ten pin bowling.i truely reckonmend.
Good, but need an need an upgrade and a place where you can get a meal and drink while watching the movies
One thing i liked about the Merimbula cinema is that they didn't have the ads pre movie the ads just drag on went to see bad boys for life yesterday
