Village Cinemas Shepparton reviews
34 Love Village Cinema's in Shepparton.
Staff are friendly and helpful and the cinema seating is comfortable and all cinema's are spotless.
Cinema complex in Shepparton.
Accept companion card.
Lift access to second level on request.
Accessible toilets.
Only issue can be with the undulating floor up to the cinema. Hidden by pattern in carpet so can feel unsettling for some with balance issues.
What a absolutely joke, movie was to start at 6.10 and here it is 6.45.
Movie paused.
Not happy.
Reasonable theatres.
Floors in hallways to theatres undulate which makes it very difficult for disabled people or anyone with vision/balance issues.
Does have an elevator to upper levels.
There is plenty of parking nearby and cafes for a bight to eat afterwards. Our cinema was small and cosy. The sound was excellent. The venue has not changed in the 20 years I have been going there.
Watched a movie on Friday, they paused it a quarter way in, for 20 minutes, because people showed up late. They made no announcement, just straight up paused the film and we only found out why because people behind us got upset and asked what was going on. The seats I booked online were filthy, covered in rubbish, even the cup holders full, so we had to sit elsewhere. The seats we sat in were soiled with a brown substance and we didn’t realise until the lights came on. Would seriously give it zero if I could, this place is a JOKE.
A few years ago movies started on time previews were on before the allotted start time. Popcorn is eaten by the time movie starts, waiting 40 mins.
I asked for ticket prices as they are nowhere, it was inconvenience for staff member. I was dismissed & hurried. She said there online, which only come up when u proceed to buy.how does 1 workout their budget? Chairs not comfy for a 2.5hr movie & cinema always smells of mice.
Our cinema needs work, movies to stay on longer
What a shambles that the Shepparton cinema has become. Firstly looks from outside broken facardes and walking in doesn't get any better walking in. Anyhow I proceed in and there's 1 person working doing tickets from a very depleted and near non-existent candy kiosk. So run down and depleted was this but the advertisement for refreshments no longer represents what they have. No frozen drinks no fountain drinks, bottles of water that aren't even advertised and the combo deals aren't able to have with them anyhow. So what should of been a $12 combo end up being a $20 and you're told if you want softdrink to go across the road that that shop would sell them. Any how moving on to seats very hard and don't be feeling like they been revamped since I was last living in the town 10 years prior when the cinema was actually good. Then the tooled were also out of order and you would have to leave the cinema to go public rest rooms a couple hundred meters away which close / locked at 8pm not good for a 9pm or later viewing Was such a let down
Very disappointed to see our local cinema fall into disrepair. Compared to other village cinemas we are definitely not getting the same experience even though we are paying the same. Our cinema is in desperate need of an upgrade it’s no wonder that it can’t hold on to staff, considering the conditions they have to work in and the constant dealing with customers complaints
Something definitely wrong with frozen coke machine. Horrible drink, when complained & ask for a replacement bottle of water, attendant then charged $7.50 for water Was told I wasn’t the only person complaining, then when I later dumped them on the counter, he then decided to give us non frozen coke.
For the prices you pay, you should expect quality.
Cinema is well over due for comfortable seating.
Choc tops are now replaced with a smaller/ less yummy choc top
Hire more staff.
Full line with only 2 employees both doing tickets and food/drink.
3 move times within 10mins of each other causing huge wait times.
This is a well managed nice option to watch movies in the town of Shepparton at a very convenient location.
Movie was a little late starting but the popcorn was salty perfection.
Paper straws so yay environment but not so being able to finish your drink by the end of the movie. BYOS.
Staff were polite enough
Bit random setup. No one checks your ticket, could have just walked in from the street. Seats are ok, bit tired but serviceable for 2hr. Food and drink are $$$.
Its dirty smells disgusting and the chairs are so uncomfortable. No wonder people don't go to the movies anymore
Bright lights so you can get to your seat, accessibility for the disabled, room at the right darkness for movie when it starts, staff are very helpful, welcoming, a good night.
A really good cinema experience outside of major cities. Just need more staff on weekends or during major screening.
Good service, sadly some movies showed for a short period only but was still showing in other theatres but stopped showing in Shepparton for some reason.
The theatres them self’s are nice comfy to sit in and clean.
Update***** went BACK to the cinema to get a refund. Still no refund only offering vouchers (as if we will ever go back) still zero explanation as to WHY we could not see the movie we booked and paid for. Have been to the cinema three times now Nd still not seen the movie. Completely unacceptable. On the other hand, Cobram cinema were incredibly helpful with amazing customer service and I'm excited to finally be seeing the movie there tomorrow night
Booked tickets in advance, paid for in person only to travel into Shepparton to be informed that the movie we had pre booked and paid for (and given a phone number and name) was not showing. We tried to get a reason for the cancellation but got none and could not even get a refund on the tickets, only a voucher, unless we came back to the cinema the next day. Huge headache, I just wanted to see spiderman
Movie, Moonfall Was awesome, cinema staff were very friendly and helpful, Tho §§ on food drinks
