Village Cinemas Plenty Valley reviews
41This review is more so of village cinemas in general the plenty valley complex seems to be doing everything ok. Village cinemas really need to get their covid systems sorted out. The online booking system is a complete mess. The only way to find out if you can see a movie is to physically drive down to the cinema and try and get a ticket, and it's always going to be a gamble because they will probably be sold out because they have reduced capacity. This really shouldn't be a hard problem to solve. Alternatively let us call the cinema to find ticket availability so we don't have to waste our time driving from god knows where on the chance we might get to see a movie.
The Gold Class was great, the only thing was the first latte was cold and then when I wanted the second halfway through it came about a minute after the first. But it was very nice
Food can vary depending on the night we go.
Ordering less because of quality
Comfortable recliners in gold class with really terrible food. Service was ok. Movie was interrupted by an annoying crazy lady who kept talking to herself.
The V-MAX Sound System is awesome. The sound matches the screen size and pairs well, unlike HOYTS xtremescreen. The only downside and the reason I gave 4 stars is the lack of recliners. I think Village could take a page out of Hoyts book and have recliners in all theatres. It's still my goto place for New release movies.
An absolute joke what r u spending the money use are making on because it's not the food use all need a kick up the arse so to speak and need some descent training in the kitchen and out
To slow to cold rude young staff who don't care
Across the board gold class needs to lift it's game big time
Lovely place a gold class to have a night out with friend
Good food and good as you be a king or a queen for a night
little be expensive the ticket as you dont have nothing included like popcorn snack ect
Me n my frnds went for 9: 30PM show of jobs & Shaw's. The show is supposed to start at 9: 30 but it started at 10,30 minutes of commercials. Other than that everything is good. Food, seating.
Relatively new complex with comfortable seating in all theatres. There are vmax theatres & gold class there as well as a children's theatre. Great food precinct located below the theatres and a restaurant on the same level as theatre.
I had an issue with my online booking the guy and girl who served me were so lovely about it dealt with it like it was no hassle at all despite the growing line they were onto it pretty quickly and I was finished with in no more then 5 minutes the vjunior was a great experience I even had an escapee which they were onto before I even had the chance to realise he had run out of the movie theater it was a relaxing experience but I might leave the beanbag area for this kids and go sit in a normal seat next time! Tickets were only $15 if you join up which is free and easy so $5 more then reading but so much less hassle parking the car and it not being so chaotic my stress levels never rises they were just so professional today thank you village! We will be back! Hopefully without a runner issue!
Vjunior is definitely not for kids over 5 it's so bloody noisy. Can't enjoy a movie with screaming kids definitely learnt a lesson. Waste of $50.
Great clean theatre complex with Gold class, weekends are busy and queues can be long, get there a bit earlier for theatre sessions, book online always the easiest.young staff still learning their trade, very polite and helpfull.
Thank you for your email regarding your Village Cinemas Courtesy Passes.
Village Cinemas accept Complementary, Courtesy and Promotional passes for redemption until the printed expiry date. Unfortunately we cannot extend the use of them beyond this. This is in line with the terms and conditions, which state “The expiry date displayed is not extendable”.
I am sorry that we were unable to assist you with your request.
Kind Regards,
Aiden

Thank you for your late reply
Completely overpriced and thieves.i left my jimin face mask ($50, directly imported from korea) in the cinema, came back not even 3 minutes later while the cleaners were in there and said they hadn’t seen it.my friends saw me leave it but thought i grabbed it so they lied.absolutely disgraceful and disappointed, want my money back.
I like my cinema experience. The staff are really nice there and are quite quick in service. However the multiple times I've been there, the popcorn has been stale and the drinks not carbonated. I've also been in the VJunior cinema now 5 times, 3 of which were for Horror movies, not sure how to feel about that. VMax is definitely it's defining feature as the sound is incredible and the seats are comfy.
Great cinema. V-Junior kids area, Gold Class and V-Premium. Fully licensed cinemas. I’ve been to lots of cinemas and this is one of the best. It’s got all the latest stuff including the latest Dolby Atmos sound system. I never have to wait for long in the queue and the seats are comfy. Staff are good and keep a clean cinema. Every time I visit it’s a positive experience. Couldn’t ask for a better cinema.
I almost watch one movie here every week with my family as we love watching movies at cinemas. Village plenty valley is a wonderful clean place with decent staff. Just one suggestion, staff needs to stop spilling the sticky Coke all over the glass every single time!
It was okay and the staff were lovely but it was overly expensive. When I went to the washroom me and another lady found it difficult and a big task to figure out how to get the water running.we literally looked around for 5 minutes to figure it out.there should be a poster showing how to get the tabs running
The newly renovated section of the centre is absolutely amazing. It has an excellent variety and quality of food, hospitality and atmosphere. But not to take anything away from the older part of the centre. It is there that is definitely meant for and purposed to be a place for everyday shopping with a Woolworths, ALDI and 2 dollar shops. Overall very outstanding place.
I do not come for a movie often. But everytime i do i always choose Village instead of Hoyts, and so far all my experience has been a good one! One time i lost my wallet there and they actually kept it and get out of their way to contact my Bank to ask my bank to contact me so i could collect my wallet that i left!
After three bad experiences here in Gold Class. We decided to complain, which we don't like doing, but felt like something had to be said. They gave us complimentary tickets and an apology and noted our feedback. So, we went back Saturday to watch a movie in Gold Class. Whilst there we ordered drinks and loaded wedges off the menu. Well it was a huge mistake. I got food poisoning and its Monday now and I still can't keep anything down. I'm leaving this review as I just feel like customers should know what they are paying for. Avoid if you can
