Village cenima website fails to show Coburg drive in prices. Kids are free, not $10. Phone number does not answer as well.

Wow! They have a priority service here and I had no idea! I only found out tonight. It's pretty convenient too, all you need to do is drive down the wrong side of road, bypass the entire queue that's stretching out onto the main road and then BAM! You'll find yourself at the front of the queue, ready to be served. But in all seriousness, the queue management was terrible tonight. About 8 cars went down the wrong side of road, but none came back, as none were refused service for being absolutely pieces of trash. They had a single lane all the way up to the booth, which we waited patiently in, but then cars started driving down the second lane, straight to the front. Why wasn't that done in the first place? ! How did they not see the single line of cars stretching out onto the main road? This place has been open for a very long time, you'd think they'd be able to manage the queue and co-ordinate the traffic. I had to cut people off who were trying to cut in line. We FINALLY get to the front after about (no joke) 20 minutes to buy a ticket and then tell them and their excuse was "I can't see from here". That's a pretty piss poor excuse. Especially seeing as they served the people who went the wrong way. One extra staff just to guide or manage the queue would have been a lot better. We were also told the movie would be starting in 2-3 minutes, so we parked and turns out it was about 7 minutes in (Lion King remake, they had already gotten passed the Pride Rock scene), plus the screen was tiny. It looked like the camera focus was all wrong. The sound quality was crackly as well. I was so disappointed, that we went back to the front, got a refund and left. I've been coming here for YEARS and have loved it, but have noticed the quality has dipped recently. Tonight though, was just a.bad experience.

I've lived in this area virtually all my life. I'm 54 now and I remember going there in my pjs with my parents when I was very young. Friendly staff at the ticket box. A great night out.

Loved it. It's really nice sitting in your own car watching a movie. Well worked out and you can see perfectly from any spot. Will certainly be seeing more movies here in the future!

Amazing experience. Great if you have a Honda Jazz with the seats down and the hatchback open.

Recommend showing up 30 mins earlier as the lines for the candy stand gets hectic and parking is limited.

Great old school open air cinema with pop corn bar. Awesome place to spend time with your friends and family

Good viewing experience, but the food bar is overpriced. Tickets are more expensive compared to some other venues. Bring your own snacks if possible.

A bit pricey but two movies is ok I guess. We love the drive in for mid week entertainment when I have my days off work.

An excellent night out. Not many drive in cinemas exist anymore. This would have to be the best one. They sell burgers and chips and all the usual cinema foods like popcorn etc. Just tune in your radio to the correct frequency and you’ve got sound, even better if you have a subwoofer in the car! A completely different movie experience that you need to try.

The staff aren’t the friendliest or the nicest. I’ve been going here since I was a child, it’s a pretty good place to have an intimate night with your loved one or to bring the kids and not worry about them talking in the middle of the movie. Overall a good experience if you’re just there to watch the movie, and disregard the rude staff and the almost-always dirty bathrooms.

Just ok. The clarity is nt wonderful, but hey it's outdoor so what the h**k. Nice for families n behaved dogs. Though some inconsiderate humans who would drive out in d middle of a movie with headlights in ur face.come with a fuel in ur tank to run the car throughout the movie n bring ur own food n drinks period.

Had a great time here. Has a retro feel but modern movies, was great to kick back in our car and talk through the whole movie without disturbing anyone.

My favorite place to see a movie. Good hot food and very convenient to bring family as well. Surely this place will be missed.

Great value for families as children under 13 are free entry.friendly staff. Don't forget to bring seats if you plan to sit on the ground. We had the kids in the boot and enjoyed our movie. The hot jam donuts are yummy and delicious.
