These guys are always lovely. But talk about grace under pressure. Stinking hot night. Phone ordered (along with the rest of Viewbank) was told they'd be a 40 minute wait. Got to the shop 7 minutes early to pay The girls serving looked cool and calm. My order was ready on the dot. Beautiful smiles great customer service and yummy food to boot! Thanks guys most appreciated
Amazing Fish & Chips with a great selection of fish and nice and crunchy batter / chips which is a must! Highly recommend.
Haven't changed the menu in entire time I've lived in area.
Probably means they are timeless classics, more likely the 17th owners still cbf changing it.

Saving grace is they have actual spud cakes.

A must try. Always grab the normal fish n chips pack which is very good & fresh.
Tried the hamburger with the lot for the first time, could not fault. A gem find.

Had the most bland, unseasoned, below average cheese burger of my life in this place today.and who doesn’t put tomatoes in burgers by default, this is just cheap.
Consistently great fish and chips. Big fresh pieces of flake. Nothing is ever oily. Very friendly staff. Busy busy busy.
Great fish and chips! The fish is large and fresh, chips are good and if you like onion rings then this is the place to get them from! Highly recommend
Great service nice and friendly. Great food but if you come late and let the food get left in the heater it can get soggy but other than that it’s good.
