Victoria Police Museum reviews
28Very interesting, I learnt a lot! Not so sure if this place is good for school kids as its alot of stand-and-read.
Great place to learn more about the history of the police force & the criminal underworld. The copies of the actual reports, hand notes & pictures made it very engaging. Humbled to learn of the sacrifices of the Victorian Police Force.
By the way, catch the free tram & do alight at Flinders Street West (D6). Just a couple minutes walk.
Interesting place but quite small. Went with my daughter whilst visiting here. Would recommend but don't walk 7 miles like us to get there, wish them all the best success here. We bought a Victoria Police Koala for a souvenir and found it great value
Located in Melbourne's CBD near the World Trade Centre. The exhibits cover a range of themes dating back to the 1800's. There are crime scene photos, police uniforms, the remains of the car used in the Russell street bombing and Eric the bomb disposal robot. Of the three Police Museums visited in Australia the Victorian would be third best with QLD's (Brisbane) no. 1 followed by NSW (Sydney) no. 2.
Amazing! Empowering and informative in regard to women in the force and how much it's changed for them. Some awesome displays from the past. Absolutely loved it. Can't believe it's taken me so long to get there.
Rather interesting piece of gem hidden away in the world trade centre. Entrance is by golden coin donation.
Lovely little display, it was great seeing some of the actual armor used by the Ned Kelly Gang.
Unexpected. Came across it by accident
Very interesting displays showing the history of Victoria Police
