Victoria Park reviews
44As a dog park it's perfect, fully fenced with several water bowls spaced around the ground, usually has plenty of bags too. It also does a fairly good job of hosting some AFLW games
Had an appointment in the area, so decided to revisit the sacred park. Just walking under and around the grandstands brought back memories. Looks like it would be a fun place to utilise the bbq area with fellow Collingwood supporters and talk about the past. Floreat Pics.
Amazing off lead dog area when not booked for footy / events.
Secure due to being a footy oval, in case your pup is not quite street smart.
Huge array of dogs attend. Be warned to pick up (as you should!) after your four legged family members or you might be fined.
For a publicly accessible oval it's not bad. Wish the grass was lusher/present and wish people wouldn't walk their dogs on a sports oval.
Good ground but need better seats that wood doesn't splinter and stick to your clothes
Great public oval, love the vibe and of course the heartland of the world's greatest sporting club.
An excellent preservation of a traditional suburban footy ground.
Still playing games there and in between you can take your dog or have a kick of the footy.
Go Pies.
Beautiful open public space, full of history and of course the greatest football team in the world! Also dog friendly

Wonderful brilliant friendly offleash dog park
Beautifully maintained.
THANK YOU
John
Actually a hidden Gem for locals nice and green with a touch of nostalgia.take the Dog for a walk or run on the lush green oval or sit in many nice areas to sit eat your lunch.
Great park, great access to everything, train, amenities and even a barista in the petrol kiosk. The three stands are just classic.
Growing up hating Collingwood made me want to hate this ground but it’s a real football ground. Seating everywhere means you can get the view you want without having to stand the whole time too
The oval is officially an off-lead play area for (well-behaved) dogs- but not when footy training is taking place. It's terrific for both dogs and owners.
Had my 40th birthday here the BBQ facilities were fantastic and its the spiritual home of the COLLINGWOOD MAGPIES
It's all happening, footy training, picnics, dog walkers/runners, rehearsals, you name it. All friendly people: D
Put up a fence and had a faulty qr code system.big$$$. Fence taken down at 3 qtr time.a shambles
Lot's of history with the old grand stand there.
Would have given it a 5 star but there is homeless sleeping in the grand stand at night and they piss in the stand when they could walk down stairs to a toilet.
Good transport Victoria Park station across the road located on the hurstbridge/mernda line.
Unfortunately saw some behaviour that was pretty poor by ground management. Was listening to some jolly North Melbourne supporters showing support by beating a drum after a goal was hit. The moment the beat took a more middle eastern rhythm I knew the fans were toast. Like clockwork management asked them to stop but could not articulate why. Too bad I wasn’t surprised to see such obvious racial profiling. How many racial discrimination acts do we need to state the obvious. Poor form - nice step back in time.
