Versachi's Pizzeria e Cucina / Versachis Pizza & Wine Bar South Yarra reviews
78Relished the eggplant chips and the spicy veggie pizza. They have a huge range of pizzas for vegetarians as well as non vegetarians. Will highly recommend.
A lovely spot in South Yarra, had a really nice vibe and some great pizzas on the menu. Would be back again
Loved the eureka pizza. The service was awesome. The best garlic bread in the city. And the happy hours. Best value for the money spent.
If you know how to ignore staff’s rude and discriminatory behaviour, would highly recommend this place. Very much loved the food. Really delicious. Awesome vibes. But thumbs down for the staff.
The best ever place to visit️It was my birthday and ended up with the great food experience. Chilli Boombala my all time favourite
We ordered their house special pizza that won some award in the past. It was pretty good, cheesy but a little thick for my taste. Lasagna was generous in size however the accompanying sauce tasted pretty average. Charcuterie board was disappointing, it felt like bunch of store bought cuts.

The staff are awesome and really friendly. The restaurant is in a great spot and the food is really yummy. They have recently started doing vegan options and they're so GOOD! Most of the menu can be made vegan. We had a cheese focaccia and 3 vegan pizzas. All were delicious and really great flavours. Next time I'll have to try a pasta, because they look so delicious as well.
My favourite place for the best vegan pizza and pasta! They have so many options for both vegans and non vegans! One of the best restaurants in Melbourne! Took my whole family for my birthday and dads birthday and everyone loved their food! Service is great and the food is amazing!
Best chicken parma w/veggies in Melbourne. The food and staff are great. I’d give them six stars if I could
Great food and great wine list at reasonable dining out prices. Staff great too. With vegan options on many items (which we chose) it is a great place with something for everyone.
Very good food, good atmosphere and nice service (quick and quality).
We’ll be back for sure!
Ordered Veg pizza (Chilli Boombala) last weekend from Versace for the first time and I have to say it was the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Living in South Yarra for so long and I don’t know how have I missed this place until now!
We were really excited to try Versachi because of the fantastic reviews and enticing menu, and we wanted to support a local business post-lockdown. Sadly this was easily the worst food we’ve had in Melbourne. The pasta was overcooked, with the consistency of soft Chinese noodles, and the sauce and mushrooms were completely unseasoned. The mushrooms seemed like they had just been thrown into the sauce without prior cooking- completely tasteless. We sent it back to the kitchen but we were served with the same thing less than five minutes later - it felt like they had pre-made the pasta and they were all overcooked. The pizza is what you get at Dominos for $5. We couldn’t finish our meal, and sadly will not be back. Maybe it was an off-night given the great reviews, but staff seemed very untrained as well. Sad to pay $55 for a meal that left us feeling pretty nauseated!
The pizzas are super delicious and the pastas are also very tasty. There are a lot of options for vegetarians and vegan pizza and pasta. There are few deals as well. Good for dates, friends or family gathering. The food is addictive. Would love to visit anytime.
My friend and I visited for dinner before lockdown after getting the Groupon deal, and had a great experience.
The team were very friendly, attentive and served us quickly. The waiter knew that we had a reservation and Groupon voucher. The restaurant itself is small and cosy, yet does get quite busy so it's probably best to book.
We had the Garlic & Cheese crust to start with which was so tasty and not overloaded with cheese (which they often are). It was a good size too, we didn't finish it so that we could save stomach space for the mains. We shared the Cream & Mushroom Rigatoni which was divine. The sauce was addictive as it was so full of flavour, creamy and had large chunks of chicken and mushrooms. We also had the Margherita Pizza which was faultless also - one of the best I've had in Melbourne.
Great job Versachi's, will be back soon for sure!
I have been a regular with this place (more than 5 years). The place has changed the ownership over time but quality has been consistent. Having said that, i have been quite disappointed with the way this place is promoting itself on GroupOn. GroupOn or no GroupOn, we have always gone there. It is a nightmare to get yourself a table with GroupOn. If the restaurant can't make it easy for the GroupOn clients, it should not promote itself on GroupOn. Period. Thanks for the quality pizzas though.
Yum! We ordered the “Eureka” pizza the night before and saved it for breakfast the next day.
Reheated it in the microwave and it was delicious! Can imagine how good it would’ve tasted when it was fresh too.
The prawns are real, big and juicy, not dry and puny like you usually get at pizza shops. The sweetness of the tomato and basil was divine. A little kick from the goats cheese and honestly wish there was more because it was so yummy! Beautiful and simple tomato sauce on the base and good amount of dough.
10/10!
One of my bests experiences so far for a pizza.
The decoration and the excellent service make a friendly atmosphere in the restaurant.
If you like spicy, I recommend the Chili Bombala!
Service was a bit slow & distracted though friendly. Pizzas were nice, my truffled mushroom was nice, a bit too much tomato and needed more mushroom, but could def taste the truffle. Base a bit solid. Music quite loud. Good for the trendy set on a night out rather than the pizza aficionado. Better pizzas elsewhere.
I came here as I was very hungry and nothing else was open. Very disappointed. The gourmet pizza has nothing gourmet and the sauce in the lasagna was very sweet. In the words of Marie Kondo this doesn’t bring me joy.
