Versachi's Pizzeria e Cucina / Versachis Pizza & Wine Bar South Yarra reviews
78We ordered the lasagne, carbonara and parmigiana. The Parma was so lovely and the lasagna was delightful. My wife said it was better than my mums, which I had to disagree but it was very close ;)! Wait staff were really nice, serving us drinks whilst we waited for our take away. Good value too!
Best vegetarian pizza i've had in years, their Eureka pizza was fabulous and the sauteed vegetables with Almonds just delicious. Grear value great tasty food!
I had a vegetarian linguine which was delicious with a lovely glass of red wine. Great service and nice ambience:)
I have been here a few times and have always come back for not only the food but the really good service. Mancy the manager was outstanding in serving me and my friends. She even remembered the weird way i like my water from last time. This added that personal unbeatable touch. Cant go wrong with the EUREKA or MEATBALL pizzas!
The vegetarian pizza was pretty good but it did have an unusual spice in it.maybe curry?
We got the bill midway through our dinner so that was a minus. A bit loud for my taste but some people may enjoy it that way.
If you’re craving for a quality meal combined with hospitality, this is the place to be. No second thoughts. Customer service is excellent, the people, especially Mansi, looks after the customers really well. I have been to this place n number of times now and have recommended to my friends as well. Great food, warm staff and thorough professionalism overall.
When I tested the food pizza pasta and garlic and many more options over all everything too good for me.
A hidden gem, was here last night and absolutely loved the ambiance, waitress customer service and of course the pizzas and happy hour drinks.
I would highly recommend this place if you're thinking about it but yet to experience it, my top pick pizza is the volcano here so if you like your spices, definitely try that pizza out!
Will be returning in the near future with family and friends.
Got the chicken bbq pizza which was pretty good, plenty of fresh toppings and pizza base is nice and crispy. Also ordered the matriciana pasta which was not bad, a bit too spicy that it overpowered the sauce. Prices were good for portion sizes. Overall decent italin food but may not be considered as authentic as others.
Attended for a catch up with friends on Wednesday. Best way to describe is it is a hidden gem.
Service was great. The young lady kept our dri ks coming. She was proactive in letting us know what the specials were. Recommended food for us to try. Most importantly, she was polite and friendly.
Food was brilliant. One of the best pizzas I have had for a ling time. We didn't try their pasta dishes but I guess they would have been just as good.
2 minutes walk from the South Yarra train station so no need to drive.
Highly recommended.
Our worst dine in experience in Melbourne where we literally got up and left without eating the mains we ordered.
We ordered some chips as entree with our beers which came super late even when the restaurant wasn’t tad busy.
I mentioned to the waitress that i dont want our mains to come with the fries and still because the fried were delayed the waitress mentioned that our mains are ready as well. As we didn’t wanto rush with eating, we had our fries and left. We were left at a time when not alot of dining places were open. All the waitress could offer was SORRY ABOUT THAT.
We went there as it was a great experience last time but clearly not this time. Goes without unsaid not returning anytime soon. I really think the restaurant needs to understand that Dining is not just about food but the entire experience.
Excellent quality Pizzas
Tried the V-burn, Chicken Tandoori, four cheese parma.
Food and service was topnotch.
Only backdrop is no large pizzas are offered for dine-in.
Perhaps because we came here on a weeknight, it was a little quiet and lacked atmosphere. There were ample choices in the substantial menu. Generous portion sizes and the dishes were very decent, but for me there was no hook to make it memorable. Polite service throughout the night and a pleasant visit.
My experience was terrible. My pastas took more than 30min with no explanation for the delay. When it arrived my carbonara was unsalted.
After a long time we visited this restaurant and I regret why don’t we dine here more often. The food was amazing and the staff went above and beyond. Will be a regular from now onwards.
The food tasted fresh and absolutely delicious. We would definitely come here again. Thank you for the great service
Delicious pizza at a very reasonable price. Fresh ingredients & great service. Lovely lockdown treat, will definitely be back & I’m only 1 slice in!
-> Visited prior to the COVID-19 outbreak.
This is my go-to restaurant for pizza in Melbourne.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is great, and the ambience is awesome. The staff are friendly and willing to help too.
Their menu is extensive and the food tastes pretty much authentic (to sum up). The chips are great too, I could probably eat a whole bucket of them.
Can't go wrong with this restaurant; great and consistent service.
Great experience, the vibe was joyful and the service was the best. My partner and I shared a pizza and a vegan pasta, and these were lovely. Would definitely recommend this place and will surely come back:)
When you charge a lot for a simple pasta - it either A) needs to be amazing, or B) the service better be amazing. Unfortunately - neither here are true. Totally uninterested staff - not a smile, a thankyou - nothing. Just ‘you’ve gotta be out by 6.30’ - ok - I mean the place is empty but no problem. Having to ask after 15 mins for the glass of wine I ordered - with the meal already cooked in front of me. Honestly in competitive south Yarra - take your money elsewhere. Staff really count when you charge that much for a pasta. I’ve also just paid the bill - $32 for a pasta and 10ml of wine, and the lady at reception just shoved the card machine at me, no words exchanged. No bueno.
