I've been thinking about a standing desk for a few years now.
I ended up buying a traditional desk from OfficeWorks which was ok, but left me wondering how good can a standing desk be?

My main concern was desk wobble and stability.
After chatting to Anthony via the online chat, my questions were answered which I thank him for.

So I took the plunge into the world of standing desks, and I must say I'm happy I did.
Bamboo / White. Very nice.

I've used the desk for just under 1 week and it feels really solid with no sign of wobble.
It's built like a tank.

The setup process was straightforward, thanks to the youtube videos taking you through each step.

Yes, it was a little more expensive than other brands, but you get what you pay for here I think.
An Australian brand with customer support / long warranty is worth the extra few hundred.

Updown desks are high quality, and the customer service offered is fantastic. A good of mine recommended Updown when I was researching and looking at Omnidesk desks, however, I have honestly found this desk a game changer in the COVID WFH season and particularly as my profession requires me to be at my desk all day. I now can easily sit and stand at the touch of a button and it's just fantastic!

One downside: Just be aware that the desks _can_ scratch easily if you are not careful with larger items.

Great Desk. Installation not great for average consumer

The desk overall is great and is extremely sturdy once installed. The installation experience however was pretty bad in my opinion.

It would have helped a lot if the desks came with pilot holes. Being a perfectionist, it took awhile to line up as I have to measure, and remeasure. Also, while I was flipping the table over (after putting the screws into place), the table top lifted up as the screws stripped and did not hold the table top in place.

Overall, table quality is 5 stars, and installation experience is 1 star. After putting in consideration the quality of the table, the price, and as well as the installation experience, I would rate the table as 3 stars.

I love my new UpDown desk. It works perfectly, and I was able to customise with my own 2200mm top. Very easy to assemble by following the videos on their website. And when I had a question, the follow up service was very fast and friendly. Highly recommend.

Very impressed with my desk. I've had it for a couple of years now and the quality is great. I really like the look of it and enjoying working at it. The service was also very impressive, I had a problem setting it up and Jordan got back to me with in an hour on a Sunday!

It's rare that someone or something lives up to reputation but I can without reservation recommend Jordan, Updowndesk.com.au and the product. Right from the get-go Jordan was super responsive - helping me with stock level information and general advice. The desk arrived when expected, and was super easy to assemble (I suggest watching his youtube video).

For the price - this is the best electric adjustable desk I've ever used - and I used a few, including ones imported from the US.

My husband has been using his Pro Series desk for around 6 months now. I also regularly use his desk. It's really, really solid and even with 2 x 27inch monitors, it remains stable. The control panel has 4 presets, which is really handy as both as we don't need to continually reset the memory button programming. We also opted for an above desk power rail, which has also been super handy to quickly plug in USB power devices (phone/watch etc) or a 2nd laptop. We'll definitely be buying a 2nd pro series in due course.

Superb pre sales and post sales customer service. Anthony was very helpful. Response was fast and I felt confident that I was dealing with a professional team.

Above all, the product speaks for itself. Compared to the similar desk at Officeworks, the quality is better and as a result it is more expensive, but I personally prefer to pay $200 more for a better built product.

The product was shipped very quickly and I received it in less than a week.

Since using the product at home, my back ache from sitting down for long periods of time has subsided and I feel very grateful that I came across UpDown desk.

Aesthetically pleasing, super fast delivery on some additional items I ordered (within 24 hours) and helped to troubleshoot my desk in an email. These guys are great and highly recommended.

My cable management isn't the best but that aside I highly recommend getting am automatic standing desk.

Bought this automatic memory standing desk sometime ago and never regretted it. It's goes up quick and quiet, VERY study and simple to install.

Comes with a memory control unit so I can pre-set my desired sitting and standing height means I don't have to figure out what was my ideal height.

Big props to the guys at UpDown and especially Matt for always being prompt and so easy to deal with.

Ok so I don't often share reviews like this but felt compelled after such a good experience. I now own 2 Pro Series desks from UpDown. Work bought me one late last year for the office and when COVID hit, I had absolutely no hesitation in forking out my own money for the same desk for my home office to use for my studies. I simply couldn't work with it now. I did a bunch of research leading up the first purchase and it's paid off. It has made a massive difference to my lower back stiffness/pain, which is now non-existent. As I use dual monitors sturdiness and weight capacity were essential for me and the Pro series absolutely fits the bill. 100% recommend. After sales support is excellent; I'd suggest equal, if not better than before sales support.

Ordered base only and fitted my own top. I decided to buy a desk from this company after having a huge stuff around with a nationally operating online company that delivered a desk top then told me they didn’t have the base in stock and wouldn’t do for another several months. Kind of defeated the purpose. I found UpDown Desk delivered a high quality product with a quick turnaround time at a competitive price. I spoke with Anthony over the phone before purchasing and found he was very helpful. I use this desk at home but will get another one for work and have recommended to a colleague also.

Could not be happier. Communication and advice before purchase was prompt and helpful. I ended up getting the frame and organising my own desk top, so I could get exactly the top I wanted. Jordan was super helpful all the way through.

When I received the table, wow, it is constructed of high quality materials and solid. This thing ain't going to wobble at full extension, which was critical for me.

Assembled in no time at all, just a drill for me to attach the table top, which Jordan gave great advice on.

I bought the frame to adapt to my existing desk and am really happy with the quality of the desk. It is really solidly built with no wobble at all and is super quiet. I love that it has multiple preset settings in the controls, although it is a slight annoyance that you have to hit the up/down button first before hitting the preset to wake it up.

The desk has really helped me recover from my back surgery as I coudlnt work sitting down for long. While I am tired standing for longer it is a lot more comfortable.

Would recommend this product to others. Good quality and good price compared to what a lot of the retailers have.

I love my UpDown Desk.
When my office switched to working from home, I wanted to ensure I had a decent set up at home. My office has a few UpDown desks, and so I decided to stick with the same brand.
Over the time I've had it, I've found myself using it more and more, not only to stand while I work, but to adjust the desk through the day as I feel the need.
Putting it together was a 2 person operation, but not too complicated, I also went with a 3rd party desk top - which still fit perfectly after drilling some new holes.
Understandably the price tag may be a deterrent, however the customer service is excellent and I've found the prices comparable to other brands on the market.
Would happily recommend to others.
