I ordered 1/2 rack of bbq pork ribs on uber eats. It ws advertised at $28 but i was charged $32. Anyway, the ribs tasted great, sauce is sticky and sweet as it should be, the top of the ribs were supermoist and pulled away from the bone easily but the thicker end was dry and hard to chew. But overall really good ribs.

My partner and I were looking forward to try this restaurant. We got there and were seated at the table without water until we finished our meal. I thought it might have been self service but I saw other tables having water and glasses with them when they were seated.

Service was a bit poor. I noticed and assumed there was a new waitress. She asked if we're waiting for our food because she saw us waiting for a while. However, she took food to the wrong table a few times including our ribs and brisket.

Brisket was dry and plain. Not much taste to it. Spicy wings were just okay. Ribs were also plain and not as saucy so it was a bit dry.

Let's just say we were disappointed and probably not coming back. Thank you.

Had the Fathers Day lockdown set menu today. Bloody delicious. Hubby & I loved it. And thanks for the free beer, hubby was wrapt. Will be back to support you again soon. Hope you guys are killing it this lockdown

We were really excited to support local and ordered via Uber eats. Big disappointment, we were presented with dry meats, lack of sauce or flavour and poorly executed food on a brilliant concept that should shine in this area

Really good tasty food and great variety of drinks just a bad spot for parking but will still go back

If you love meat and cocktails, this is the place for you! The Poutine is to die for, and you probably would if you are it every day. Awesome food, I have to stop myself from eating here regularly.

Hands down top three ribs I have ever had, and that including living in the states. Will go again and wish I could live here

I support all of the poor reviews posted here. Can’t comment on service, but there was a very strange vibe from the staff when I picked up the order; it looked like only one person was actually working and the rest were just ‘hanging out’. The food was truly awful. Dry, flavourless and over-priced. This is a shame, considering this type food would be a fantastic option in the area.

Was excited to try this place but ended up pretty disappointed. The meats were fatty and bland, the food was way too expensive for the portion sizes, and the service was pretty abysmal - despite ordering through an app.

What a feast! Forgot how amazing this place was as I haven’t been for years. Food was so delicious and the staff were so great.

Used to be my favorite American BBQ joint. Unfortunately, after Covid, their quality, food and service, went down a bit compare to before.
Still a good choice for local BBQ place but don't hold your breath.

I love this place have been here couple of times for drinks, but the only thing is they don’t have any chicken in their menu but extremely great staff

Very casual and easy. Order on an app or at the bar, you can get jugs of locally brewed beers including Hop Nation yay. Smoked meats on point, house-made pickles excellent and brilliant chips. Slaw too salty but not fair to drop stars on just one dish. Less salt on the slaw next time plz.

UP IN SMOKE! The food is delicious and the vibe is perfect, a warm cosy smoke house, perfect during the cold winter nights or outdoor seating if preferred, I found the Large Meat Tray to be perfect to share as a pair as long as you have a couple of beers with it
The meat is all delicious and smokey! The beef Brisket just melts in your mouth with a perfect bark and smoke ring.its spectacular! Then the pulled pork, it is cooked to perfection with a beautiful full pork flavour! The Pork Sausage.wow.this Sausage was unbelievably good! It has a few things going for it, the flavours are layered, there's a lot of depth to these bad boys! I'm not a big fan off fennel but in saying that, I absolutely loved the Smoked Pork Sausage! It was absolutely incredible!
The Milk Buns were another special feature to this Tray as they were perfect! Soft and steamy bread buns I HIGHLY RECOMMEND UP IN SMOKE YO ANYONE WITH HALF A BRAIN!
Give it a try if you are in the area, otherwise, you are missing out on something special.
I'd go for a tray if I was you, that way you kinda know what things are like and then you can go from there next time! ENJOY

Very ordinary place. Very ordinary food. Very ordinary staff. Very ordinary experience. Certainly not worth the prices they're charging. None of the staff seemed to be the slightest bit interested in their work or their customers. Cold and impersonal. Why would anyone bother with this mediocrity? Not recommended.

Great beer, food looks amazing and the few bits I nibbled on that some of my friends had ordered were yummy. Of I'd not already eaten I'd of definitely ordered something smoky and meaty!

Made my way to Up in Smoke today and man am I happy I did. From the time you arrive to the time you leave staff are friendly, courteous and attentive. Explaining ordering options and support if needed.

The restaurant is extremely comfortable and they have seating both inside and out.

The price is very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food that you receive.

Between three of us we covered a fair bit of the menu. From a jackfruit snack pack (not on the menu but available if talking to the staff to order at the bar) to hot dogs and meat trays. We had the jackfruit snack pack, chilli cheese dog, small meat tray and a serve of brisket. EVERYTHING was delicious. Not one thing would I suggest changing and the sides really do help you when facing down the meat options. Having them in sandwiches would also be great which is an option but if you want to try the genuine flavour of everything then the meat tray is the way to go.

I will be returning to the restaurant for certain and can't wait to try the things I haven't already or try anything new they decide to bring to the menu.

Loved it. Typical smokehouse style and nice and bright inside. Food portion was pretty reasonable with good flavor and presentation. Staff were friendly and helpful. Browsing the menu, placing an order and paying, all thru a mobile app was a bit of a challenge but worked out well in the end.
