Good quality cinema experience. The restaurant on site is perfect for lunch or dinner or even for small parties/get togethers.

Ok cinema. The seating is reasonably good itself. Service is hit and miss. Pretty much always a giant line for the candy bar.
Last time we were there we sat there for 20 mins with a blanc screen as they forgot to turn the movie on.
I hear there's a Whalburgers going in upstairs which should be interesting whenever it gets built.

It's good but the cheap seats are not for large people. The more expensive seats might be better if your "large boned" like me

Disappointed!

Visited on Good Friday, and I asked this lovely man if we could use the bathroom because the centre had locked the public ones and he said yes and directed us as he was finished his shift.

The lady at the ticketing booth refused to let us in. Saying she was sorry and wasn’t able to.
As visitors from NSW, we found that was very appalling behaviour.

Went for godzilla film. A nice theatre experience (though the film was not good!)
Cheap rates. A good alternative to cinemas in the city.

Definitely not pram or wheelchair friendly, only one space for them.
Cinema wasn't clean and we saw an 11am session
Also no baby change table, won't be taking my young family back

Worst cinema I've been to in my life. Nearly $20 for a movie ticket and they don't turn off the lights, the chairs are uncomfortable (with no recliners, came into a dirty cinema, and the employees wear some really stupid goofy outfit.

Comfy seats. Great Dolby Atmos sound though a little loud for my 10yo. Nice big screens. Love the fancy art deco styling. Feels very upmarket for the area it's in. The owner loves having his photo taken with movie stars, plastered all over the walls, adding to the atmosphere. Service staff seem quite young, inexperienced but adequate. Best cinema this side of town with nearby restaurants and Timezone for a fun evening!

Nice cinemas, nice seating. The sound coming out of the speakers can get a little too loud but overall it is comfortable. Only issue is, for some reason, they insist on having the cinemas and foyer as cold as can be.

Great cinema, great staff. I proposed to my girlfriend at the cinema and they were extremely helpful and ensured the proposal went off without a hitch!

The website for booking tickets is not easy to use and the grand recliner seat options are not clear for sessions which have these available when you check in at the cinema.

Hi there, I would like to say that James operations Manager, has been so helpful and supportive during this hard time with one of my clients I am a disability support worker and he has offered to assist entry for myself and my client. I believe he is an amazing person and a great asset to the company. I will definitely recommend United cinemas Craigieburn to all my family and friends and future clients. Thank you James!

Excellent movie theatre to be explored for new movie releases. Outstanding ambience and very good views from the theatre. Very good help desk. Affordable ticket prices. Stadium seating. Easily accessible for all the travellers. Easily accessible for the wheelchair entrants. Good parking space.

No, just no. First of all it's bloody expensive for what it is. You would think you get what you pay for, but not in this case. So sad. Then, went to see the lion King recently, damn film was cut off and barely watchable. Half the bloody screen was missing! And to top it off, it's usually quite dirty. Soda spills, popcorn, boogers, you name it. No, just no. I'll not be returning.

This place is a shocker.the customer service is lacking to none, toilets are always filthy, expensive recliners are all broke in one way or another, they sometimes forget to start the movie, in one of the theatres the curtain doesn’t open all the way, often movies are not projected in the right scale so half the movie is cut off, they don’t clean between movies, the sign on the side of the shopping center has been broken for close to a year now. This place is so bad it even has its own facebook complaints page.it has also been reported that the manager has harassed and threatened legal action against people who have spoken publicly about their experiences.

SERIOUSLY the place on Saturday looked like an evacuation drill gone wrong & totally I organised!
Everytime we give this place another go, it’s disappointment again. Last time. Never again will we go and see a film here.
We pre-purchased tickets, got to the cinema allowing enough time to get the tickets & food. We ended up waiting in a massive line that wasn’t going anywhere. Our movie started 6: 50, at 7: 05pm my husband went and spoke to who ever was in charge. We waited a little while and he decided to try and go out to order some food. He came back empty handed, the lines were still out of control.
You would think that after so long and so many complaints MANAGEMENT would seriously take on suggestions and implement changes.
We are in a world of instant technology. We order tickets online, why not have a scanner to scan the tickets and go through. Create different lines for grand recliners & food and separate ones for standard seating. Big movie premiere, you need more staff. All stations going. Wake up and stop being money hungry self centred detached business owners. You seriously cannot run a business if you’re not personally stirring the pot. This is how businesses fail and with today’s powerful social media presence, you need to wake up and be careful.
Ohh don’t bother with the typical “managerial response” means nothing to me. It’s been way too long to realise you’re not caring, oh except up until now that the community has had enough and called upon social media. All the best

Watched The Lion King at Craigieburn United Cinema and as soon as you see the disney logo, you will notice that it's cut off at the bottom. The movie remains like this the whole way. There are scenes where you will hear Simba talking but you cannot see him because he is at the bottom of the screen and he's too small and is framed below the blacked out section

5 minutes into the movie when I noticed there was something wrong with the screen, I went down to notify one of the staff member who said they will send someone into the cinema to look at it. Nothing changed so 30 mins later we decided to walk out and was advised 'This is how the movie was sent to us'. I asked for a refund as I didn't want to watch the movie with the bottom of the screen cut off like that the whole time.

The manager and supervisor on shift were both very unprofessional and have zero customer service skills and was advised that they cannot refund because we've watched more than 15 mins of the movie. The manager and supervisor said there is nothing wrong with the movie and if we watched it on a different screen it would be different but because we were in cinema 2 that's how it was showing. They said that someone from another session came down and complained but that's just how the movie is showing and also said "you clearly know nothing about how projectors work so im not going to talk to you about it".
I asked for a credit to come back and watch it on the bigger screen as she said if we watched it in gmax, it would be different but we were in the smaller cinema and that's how it shows on those screens. She said we weren't allowed a credit for another day but we could watch the next session at 10: 10 pm however, it's screening in a small cinema and will have the same size screen which meant there would have the same issue with the blacked out bottom.

I thought this was absolute rubbish and asked to speak to someone else. The manager said 'There is no one above me' and laughed. This is highly condescending and unprofessional. When I asked who hired her she said 'The owner, but he doesnt deal with customers'. Roy, if this is your standard for managers and supervisors to represent you and your brand, you're doing it wrong. Not going to United Cinema ever again.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
If you lived in Craigieburn, then I’m sure you already know how bad this place is. United Cinemas Craigieburn is infamous with the locals (and even those outside the suburb) for being pretty much the worst retailer in Craigieburn. The image quality is poor, the venue is literally disgusting and not kept clean, things like ticket systems and movie screens are always breaking down and management are terrible person - if you complain, they’ll refuse a refund and laugh at you. They don’t care about any negative feedback. I know hundreds of people who choose to drive to Mill Park, Broadmeadows or Epping instead for a movie. All cheaper too, for superior service and presentation of movie.
