Ulumbarra Theatre reviews
39Fantastic theatre & facility. Bendigo symphony orchestra seen several times there. Wonderful oboe & woodwind section
The theatre was great. John Waters was performing with his band - Radio Luxemberg. Fantastic show.
Fantastic venue, all the amenities, accessible. All that it lacks is decent options for parking - get there early if you don't fancy a long walk after the show.
Saw Carl Barron here. Wicked venue inside the old gaol. Worth a visit. Going back now to check it out during the day.
A really good theatre allowing for all sorts of performances.
Big enough for orchestra and ballet yet intimate enough for comedy.
Very comfy seats, good sound and vision of the stage
Excellent venue but limited car parking. Bar and food available. Central Bendigo location and a short walk from pubs and restaurants.
Enjoy everything I attend at Ullumbarra. Sounds and acoustics are fantastic and clear line of sight from anywhere in the theatre.
The staff are great. The venue is sensational I have always been able to find something new to look at each time I go there. Bar prices could be a little better.
This is a brilliant facility for live theatre - one of, if not the best live theatre in the state. A wonderful concept utilising the historic Bendigo jail.
The James Morrison/ City of Greater Bendigo Brass Band concert was a wonderful experience in fantastic facilities.
I love that this is an historical building in Bendigo, an old converted gaol. Saw Kitty Flanagan there and she was brilliant. There was a massive line at the bar but it moved quickly with adequate staff on
Fantastic performance today by James Morrison and the Bendigo Brass Band with guests. Conducted by Cally Bartlett. World standard performance only marred by an amateur photographer who hovered around the back of the stage in full view. Sorry, very distracting.
But this was not to take away from an otherwise outstanding afternoon.
An amazing effort in re using an old sad history building (prison).
It us now a wonderful bright & happy place for thr whole family to enjoy.
This is a must visit when in bendigo.
Beautiful conversation from jail to theatre. Saw a lovely show but then getting hurried out at end by staff. But worth a look
Excellent theatre cleverly placed within the old goal. Impressive building conversation. Good acoustics and seating. Inside theatre design is quite conservative.
Fantastic night at our granddaughters dance concert. Packed out crowd in a brilliant and comfortable theatre. World class facility.
Fantastic theatre, converted old jail worth a look, easy parking. If the lower bar is busy go up to door 3 there's another bar there
Remains the venue of choice for music in Bendigo. Very good acoustics and sight lines even from well back in the stalls, comfortable seats.
