Two Spoons (formally trade as Ling Wah Frankston) reviews
51Lovely and authentic food. My favorite is curry laksa, the best I ever had. Very friendly, attentive and professional service. Try and you won't be disappointed.
Have been going this restaurant for longer than I can remember, when it was Ling Wah, and always had great food and service. Today was the first time we had been since it changed to Two Spoons. We had a great meal. The flavours were great and there was plenty on the plate. The only drawback is they don't do a banquet for 2 people only for 4, but that only because we always liked getting the banquet and would take home what we couldn't eat. Prices are very reasonable and service very good. Will definitely be going back and would recommend Two Spoons for anyone who likes nice Malaysian/Chinese food.
Friendly staff, clean restaurant with spacious dining area. Reasonable prices and menu as you'd expect. Fast takeaway and relaxed dining in.
Main street location and parking at rear. Be careful of main road parking, traffic lane is rather close.
A great place to eat.
We found the service, food and price well above our expectations.
The only small disappointment was a couple of the dishes were a little cooler than we would have liked, perhaps warming the plates might have helped.
Overall we would be happy to recommend this restaurant and will most likely dine here again.
Thank you Two Spoons
Not that many of an Asians eatery at Bay Side. One of the best so far found. Chef is a Malaysian origin. Staffs are friendly.
My wife are totally obsessed WITH YOUR SESAME PRAWN TOAST! SO JUICY AND ADDICTIVE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Authentic Chinese dishes, the food was very tasty, the team and chef was very friendly.
The wat tan hor was very well prepared and yin Yong with kuey teow and bee hoon was very chrispy at the bottom, very well cooked. Just like home in Malaysia
The shanghai kueh and Chinese sausage was well fried. Very satisfied.
Cooked and serve by the crews and chef himself. A very welcoming place.
Was very pleased with the table service here, however expecting a Chinese meal its was a surprise to get a modern asian menu. The honey chicken was very good, as was the entree pork dim sims, however the special fried rice wasnt as good as could be expected. Decor could do with an upgrade but generally quite satisfied with the whole experience.
Two Spoons - by far, the best Asian restaurant in the area, hands down. Previously named Ling Wah, this place is every bit as good as it used to be then too. Food is delicious, amazing quality and the service is second to none. The lovely server Annie is welcoming and friendly, always a pleasure to dine here
You must try the Beef & Black Bean.it’s amazing.
Went to two spoons for the first time last night and enjoyed the experience. Service was great but main meals arrived luke warm. Think the chef cooked them earlier and left them until they were called. You really expect Chinese food to be delivered piping hot straight out of the pan. If this can be fixed we'll be back.
Food was amazing, service size quite big, delivered before time, was gluten free as well, will be eating there again.
Two spoons as now named, prev Ling Wah restaurant in Frankston has always been an amazing Chinese food restaurant. I've been going there for over 20 years and never a bad meal or service. Our latest meal, which was a pick-up, was delicious and still piping hot even when we got it home. The staff were obliging when I wanted to check my order before leaving and very friendly. I phoned the order thru expecting a wait as it was a big order but it only took 20 mins. So very efficient. Hopefully can keep going there for another 20 years. (And inside is clean, neat, good atmosphere and I'm sure very pleasing to anyone wanting a great sit in experience).
We came here on a recommendation, and were not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious with generous portions for a fair price. The vegetables were fresh and steamed to perfection. Service was excellent throughout. Our food arrived minutes after ordering, even though the place was reasonably busy. We'll be coming back for more!
Very nice place, got take away multiple times and always nice. Yeah I recommend to Asian food lovers and others. Best of Frankston area.
Ok so I’m laying here late at night thinking about the restaurants I am eagerly waiting to open up again for dining in and Two Spoons is on top of my list! I last went here early July before melbournes second stage 3 - 4 lockdown and the staff were polite and wonderful and the food was very nice. I’ve been to this place a lot over the years through the first owners to the 2nd owners who were not as good as the first but the 3rd owners are like the first. Can’t wait to come back soon
Great friendly service. We had the lamb Malaysian curry which was delicious. We would recommend a visit
Absolutely love the food here. Often we have takeaway but always big serves with plenty of quality meat and veggies. The curry beef and satay chicken are highly recommended
Bought takeaway. It was rubbish. Fried wontons appeared to be prepared by kindergarten kids. Steamed rice was reheated leftovers, clumpy with some bits cold in the centre. The rest of the dishes were tasteless with poor cuts of meat. And yet they have the gall to charge high prices.
Went here for dinner tonight with friends. Was packed out. Everyone had come to enjoy the lovely food and excellent service. We have all come to know.
Driest fried rice I ever three in the bin. The food is revolting. Do yourself a favour; don't waste your money at Ling Wah. If I had the option to give minus stars I would've. #Yuck
