Two Spoons (formally trade as Ling Wah Frankston)

Omg this would honestly have to be the best Chinese I have ever eaten. We had the beef and black bean and the lemon chicken. The meat was so tender and the service was outstanding. Very prompt and well priced. Will definitely be back with the whole family next time

It was an okay experience for my first time there. I was the only one there at 6pm which was odd considering the other Chinese resturaunt next door was so busy.
But yeah, the atmosphere of the restaurant was way too quiet I thought - maybe put on some music next time?
The food I ordered was wonton soup, pork belly and veg, fried rice and banana fritter for dessert. They all tasted fine but the overall price was 68$ which I found surprising considering the fact I only bought small portions for me as I ate alone.
Regardless, it was an okay enough experience but I'll probably won't return. Thanks anyway.

We ordered beef and vegetables, satay combination, fried rice and prawn toast. The beef in both dishes were tough and "chewy", the combination was padded with large chunks of zucchini and had only beef and a couple of prawns, no chicken or pork. The prawn toast was not toast at all, it was heated bread with undercooked chewy prawns. I often bought food when this was Ling Wah so I expected the same high standard from two spoons, given that our order came to $66.15. The best I can say is the 2 staff members were very friendly.

We dined as a large group of 14, the food was really good authentic Chinese as was the decor which I don’t think has been updated in at least 30 years, but it adds to the atmosphere. Food could have been a little hotter but they did a great job of all our meals coming out together especially since there was only two staff, one cooking and one taking orders as well as takeaway and / Uber eat orders.
I did let them
know that their website still says takeaway only, they were thankful but were unsure how they would cope with a full restaurant with just the two of them as they cannot get staff.
It’s BYO wine only and $3 corkage per person.
The two guys were really friendly and apologetic for the short delay in the food coming out.
If you’re happy to be patient and allow for the fact there’s just two staff the food is really good.

Lovely staff and they were quick at taking orders. Atmosphere was quite dated. Sadly, Food was average at best.
Fried rice was not nice, honey chicken was literally honey on top of chicken. The Mongolian beef was the best dish but not authentic.
Would not go here again.

The young chef owner runs this restaurant all on his own. He has no staff as its so hard to find anyone. His mum comes to help if he gets busy. The 2 dishes he suggested were Beef rendang and pork belly both were delicious.
Support this young man he's having a go.

Really average food.
Ordered on uber eats, delivery was quick but that's about the only good thing.
Fried rice was oily, soggy and tastless, with huge chunks of carrot, onion and bok choy, fried wontons were burnt soggy and cold and my drink was forgotten. $35 worth of inedible food.
Unfortunately wont be ordering from here again.

Such fresh, delicious food! The owner is a lovely man and the wait staff are so friendly. It's definitely our favourite Chinese restaurant in Frankston. With some new dishes on the menu, it's definitely worth trying. Lots of gluten free options also and clearly marked on the menu.

Having a dragon obsessed child. We chose to go to Two Spoons because of the traditional Chinese decor (which included lots of dragons).
We where blown away by the quality and standard of the food.
We will definitely be returning in the near future.
FYI we would highly recommend the duck in plub sauce as it was cooked to absolute perfection.

Not as pleasant as old owners. Food for me was below average. The place was very empty compared to past Friday nights with old owners.

Loved it, a great family dinner! All dishes served promptly & piping hot, with obviously fresh ingredients and in satisfying amounts. The boneless duck and satay vegetables were particularly good.

Love this place! We used to eat here when it was Ling Wah, we seen that it had a new name and owners so thought we would give it a go. I tell you what, amazing food that didn't disappoint. Give this place a go, you won't be disappointed.

I ordered garlic prawns and it was horrible, bland and wasn't even hot when it arrived to my table. Customer service was very pushy, felt so rushed. I definitely won't come back. Terrible experience.

My wife and I had been craving real Chinese food for quite a while. We dined in at Two Spoons tonight. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic. Annie was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our dining experience at Two Spoons. I would highly recommend dining in or take away as you will not be disappointed. We will definitely be back.
