76We sat at a table next to the restaurant. It had above ground heating. Very comfortable. The waiter was mature and attentive. The food was quality. We would like to return.
Walked off the street on a Thursday night, they still found me a table in 10 minutes. Food was beautiful, shared a meat platter, reasonably priced and attentive staff. The only thing that could be improved is the front door easily creates a draft when not closed properly on a cold night.
Greek food
seafood platter for two
grilled fish of the day
mousakka
? Pita bread

: First time trying Grreek food at Tsindo‘s restaurant CBD. Heard many good things about this place from friends and families.
️: Definitely have to order the fish and cheese menu on the specials daily board. Have it with a glass of Greek wine and your night is complete.
Girlfriend the vegetarian plate, Awesome.
I had the mix gyros, Delicious.
We shared a saganaki which was even better.
Service was great too.
If you want greek food with a smile. Tsindos is the place to go.
Delicious greek food. We ordered moussaka and calamari for main dish, they both came with rice and vegetables. Totally enjoyable and delicious. Would definitely go back.
Pretty average to be honest, saganaki was beautiful but the grilled octopus was tough, the gemista was average and the gyros meat was a little dry. Although I do like that they serve nice vegies alongside your meal.
My dad was in town and craving Greek food so we tried this spot. It's quaint and cute and feels "authentic" so our hopes were high. We ordered a selection of dishes to share, some of which were hits but many of which were misses. While everything was fine, some dishes (like the greens, tzatziki and potatoes) felt pricy for what you get. All dishes also lacked salt and I don't even usually require much salt on my food. What was great was the saganaki, served on a hot plate with lemon. The pita and the roast potatoes that came with the fish were also quite nice. While the space and service and some dishes were good, I wouldn't prioritise going back to this spot but it was worth a try.
Absolutely fantastic food (great portion sizes and exquisite flavours) and an authentic atmosphere. Also fun to see the old Greek drama shows projected on the wall.
Thank you Claudia for being an attentive host and for making sure we were having a good time.
I recommend the combination as a main as you get to try a bit of everything.
Great Greek restaurant! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, food and wines are good. Book in advance if you’re planning a date because it’s often busy!
Hearty Greek food, equally good as the more popular Greek good a few doors down but have to be patient on busy days as they have limited serving staff. They do try to do their best to serve everyone but it can be trying on peak hours.
One of my all time favourite Greek restaurants. Have been going there for special occasions for years and the staff have been excellent. Try the saganaki, and the banquets are delicious.
My partner and I just stumbled across this cute little family run place, despite it being busy they fit us in even though we hadn't booked.
The service was really good, our waitress was very attentive and friendly.
The food was so so good! I over ate it was so good, I'll be back for thst mousaka.
Highly recommended.
My partner and I went for dinner on Saturday night and absolutely loved everything about this little restaurant. We had a tasting menu all picked from the owner for us and could not fault a thing.food was sublime.staff were outstanding and we would recommend this restaurant to anyone that goes to Melbourne
First time at a Greek restaurant but I truly liked the food. Well cooked and you can tell the Mediterranean style. Great service as well. Try Galaktoboureko for dessert!
I love this restaurant. I visit every time I'm in Melbourne. Delicious food and the best service anywhere. It's worth flying in from the gold coast just to come here.
Good attitude towards Greek food, quality has gone down a little, good service, medium to high price for food
I always have to get dinner here when in Melbourne. The food is incredible and the service friendly. If you like Mediterranean food and you're in Melbourne, you've got a treat here!
I was a little pessimistic about going here, it's in a very central location and that usually means tourists hot spo, i.e expensive and low quality. Very pleasantly surprised through. Great quality food in a really cozy place.
Delight experience
The food was very good and the service was pleasant and helpful. All in all a great evening.
Was disappointed with the service.the waiter did not know the menu.the food we received was not what was advertised on the banquet.and for the price we paid i dont believe it was value for money.i would look for other greek restaurants as i beleive you would get better food.
