Tsindos

From the moment we walked in this beautiful restaurant captured us. The staff are very friendly and seem like family. They had a live band playing and it was a beautiful experience. We were seated in the laneway and decided to get the banquet. No regrets the entre platter had some amazing dips and the mains were a combination of the meat and seafood platter. All the food was amazing. Would recommend trying the banquet to taste all the different food.

This little hidden, hole in the wall food vendor is an amazing spot that serves delicious food.

Well, the food was great! Very tasty.
The atmosphere was great! Loved it, they say something it might be some music and dancing!
Service, was really good, friendly!
Price, a little bit expensive, but because of the location and portions of food, it was fine!
Lots of choice of food and entrées.
The only problem was the toilet! It was disgusting, I think it was not cleaned properly since they opened the restaurant!

I will be definitely back, and if the toilet is clean, will give them a 5 star!

Great service, excellent food and generous portions. One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time! Highly recommend!

My portion was very generous but my friend ordered the fish and was disappointed in the size of the meal for the price and in comparison to other visits.
Everyone was very lovely, very welcoming and the food was delicious - overall a very good experience and I will return

Delicious Greek food with authentic, friendly service. We loved everything we had, with highlights including the Cypriot potatoes and saganaki. Perfect for the family and a really cool vibe. Hope to return one day. Thanks for a great meal

Had an amazing night out with my partner. Hands down some of if not the best, Greek food I've eaten in Melbourne.
I believe the owners were working the night we dined and it was very heartwarming to see the passion still there after so many years in business. I can definitely see why this establishment has lasted the test of time.
Will certainly be returning as there were so many dishes on the menu we wanted to try.

My only negative comment and it's barely a negative was the seating area inside is fairly small and can get a bit loud with everyone talking. But that adds to the atmosphere and there is always outside seating if you would like something a bit more intimate and private.

Great service. Great ambience, almost feels like we were no longer in Melbourne. Highly recommend their banquet. You’d leave feeling very full and will bring home leftovers.

Lots of meat, good amount for big boy, perfect for Greek boy. Would come back again, owner was lovely.

Delicious traditional Greek food. They really how to cook the seafoods and Lamb well. It is run by family and has been there for while. Their sauce is full of flavors.

Like everyone, had been to Stalactites, but then I found Tsindos. Heavenly for a quiet lunch, great food, well set out for open-air dining.

Came here for a souva on the way past. Received attentive table service, a great feed and a relaxed atmosphere in the middle of the CBD. Will definitely be back for a meal with friends soon.

Ever since stalactites's quality dropped, it forced me to venture out. And boy was it worth it. Eating at this little gem is a must - very charming and very authentic food.

We had the boss banquet and really enjoyed it. Quite a lot of food but we could taste many different dishes. I enjoyed all of them and would love to go back to the meze next time.

Not every day I am reminded of my grandfather's food but I definitely was by the delicious foods here. Authentic, good serves, friendly staff. Nothing to want for.

Well Located in Lonsdale St, the Heart of Melbournes Greek Prescint, Tsindos offers a great variety of Delicious Traditional Greek Cuisine and for those that want a quick bite to go, right on Heffeeman Lane, Tsindos offers Take Away too.
The staff are very friendly and the service is fast.
The Lamb Souvlaki is actually the Best and when it comes to Souvlakis, I've been around to know that as a fact.
So for the Best Souvlakis in Melbourne, Tsindos is a must go to place.

This is the best greek restaurant that I've been to. Amazing food and wonderful host. We were treated like queens. Part of my Mother's day gift. People do yourself a favour. Amazing place. I will be back.
