TSB Building & Pool Inspections

Fantastic local business to deal with. Great communication from start to finish. Tim did a very detailed inspection that covered all areas of the building, and the bonus of having my spa fencing certificate covered in the one visit. We used Lachy from TSB inspections for two house inspections and both times we were very happy with the service we received from him and the team. After each inspection Lachy called to tell us his main findings, as well as providing a comprehensive written report with photos.

Lachy did a pre purchase building and pest inspection for us and we cannot recommend them enough. Enquired online and a phone call was returned back on the same day with quotes/dates suitable. They took the stress out of organising availability; cut out the middle man and rang the agents themselves to organise with the current tenants. The reports were thoughough and contained great detail and plenty of photos. Great customer service and was happy to explain everything in depth once the inspection was completed over a phonecall. We will use them again in the future that's for sure!

We used Tim for a Building & Pest Inspection in the process of buying our first home. Tim was efficient and extremely knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to recommend Tim for any services.

Pre auction residential house Building and Pest inspection.
I was referred to Tim by the selling estate agent who commented that "some agents do not like to refer him as he is too thorough".
I contacted Tim on a Monday and he advised of the process and said he would contact the agent to gain access for the inspection either the following day (Tuesday) or the next (Wednesday).
Tim sent through an email with details of what would be covered in the inspection - if agreed, he would then send through the invoice for the inspection - once paid he would organise the inspection.
All looked fine so I agreed and Tim carried out the inspection on the Tuesday and forwarded (emailed same day) his report (some 60 pages) detailing areas inspected and issues he had observed;
The inspection covered the Readily Accessible Areas of the property
- Building interior
- Building exterior
- Roof exterior
- Roof Space- Part
- External walls
- Yard- Side
- Yard- Rear
Also included the inspection of the large garage/shed on the property.

Tim's report covered;
Safety hazards, Major defects and Minor defects.
All observations/comments were accompanied by many photos showing the issue.
Tim's attention to detail even listed loose hinges on wardrobe doors and litter in the spouting.
Tim recommended action/s required to deal with the issues noted.
I contacted Tim to discuss some items in the report and to clarify actions required to rectify them.

I found Tim to be efficient, fast and extremely thorough in carrying out the inspection, providing the report and making himself available to discuss any questions I had.
I will return to the property with Tim's report in hand for a closer, more focused, look at the issues.
It was also good to have the photos that Tim provided in his report to remember some details of the house that I could not recall from the 30 minute viewing time at the open for inspection.

I cannot recommend Tim highly enough for his professionalism in carrying out this building and pest inspection and reporting on issues that were not obvious to me.

We recently purchased an older 1980s property in Tootgarook with the intention of renting it out in the first instance and then, subject to finances, converting it into a family holiday house some years down the track. The house was in original condition and we were referred to Tim at TSB by the selling agent as we wanted an expert eye cast over the property so we knew, realistically, what we were dealing with. Tim was very responsive and prompt with the inspection and provided us with a comprehensive report, including many relevant photos. He also followed up with phone calls to explain various aspects of the report and respond to questions. Tim was always courteous and respectful and, importantly for us, was able to help us with recommendations of local trades people who cold help us get the property into rentable shape.
