The food is really amazing, just the service let's the place down and it is pretty expensive considering the quality of the service when they are busy. There's nothing terrible, just feels a little disorganised. For example, they forget things when rushed and make the customer feel like they are less important. I have no qualms in saying the meal was absolutely top draw, just don't make me feel like I'm getting in the way of your job. Order a glass of wine, they put the glass on the table, but then 10 minutes later, have to ask to have wine in it. The response is, sorry the bar is very busy. The thing is, the waiting staff could serve wine by the glass without needing the bar staff.

The one thing I was kind of disappointed of was that for such a diverse menu it lacks a certain.oomph! Some of the dishes were lackluster and simply didn't compliment the other dishes (set menu)

I'm usually not a massive fan of vegan/vego inspired menu's but I applaud the creativity in these dishes! Also A+ cocktails as well!

Would definitely come back again for sure.

Excellent vibe, some really well done dishes, however if you happen to not like the featured vegetable in a dish it's pretty easy for them to miss the mark.

My partner took me here for my birthday and I was very impressed. Perfect spot for special occasions. Food tasted wonderful and service was great!

An experience like no other! My partner surprised me to a wonderful dining experience! We enjoying the tasting menu with such a variety of flavours. Each dish unique and full of flavour. The only feedback we had was that the sauce that accompanied the eggplant was not to our liking but we enjoyed the culinary journey

Incredible food! All meals were great. The cheeses especially were amazing what they could make from cashews etc. Friendly service as well. Will definitely be back

Wonderful food, particularly impressed with the care staff took to accommodate our dietary restrictions and come up with delicious alternatives.

My father has quite a few special dietary requirements - and Transformer is perfect for him. Such a great variety of dishes to choose from. The interior of the place is quite 'cool' ;) you'll need to check it out some time!

Was ok. The cocktails and dessert was nice. But pop corn and a plate of vegetables? I expected a bit more when I'm paying $$

At the time of placing an order, we asked to put no ice, but when the drinks came in, there were ice in it. The waitress went in and came back with the same drink by just removing the ice, which made the flavour almost to 0.
Food - 4*
food was good, but popcorn and raw salad was bit of a turnoff, as I would expect better when I am going to a fine dining and paying $55 per person.
Highly encourage the restaurant to consider reviewing this section.

Over all, 4*, and can visit once, if you are after some sort of celebration.

Food was incredible, no idea why it only has a 4.3 rating. Only downside is you're not allowed to get any leftovers to takeaway.

Food was bland and uninspired - we booked a night here after having an amazing experience at Lona Misa and were severely disappointed. Only thing I could stomach was the eggplant, and even that was too salty.

The aesthetic & vibe is awesome, service is a bit uncomfortable, the produce is good, but overall the food wasn't that mind blowing which sucked as we were super excited for it.

We had dinner here on Saturday night and the entire experience was superb. The food was delicious, interesting and beautifully presented. I also want to mention the staff. Every single one of them were friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful.
I really could not fault our night.

Wow! What a fantastic place! Attended a birthday and not being a vegan or vegetarian, I was unsure what to expect. Well, after that excellent experience and amazing food, i am seriously thinking off becoming a vegetarian. If you live or are heading to Melbourne, put this on your to do list. I highly recommend this fabulous place. The decor, food and staff are simply fantastic. Can not wait to get back there again.

I had previously been to transformers where I was greeted with an amazing experience. After waiting about 2 years I had come back expecting the same but was greeted with only ridiculous prices for small dishes. This place has fallen with veggie bar around the corner, where they are only focused on making “okay food” for a stupid amount of money.
