Scammer alert! Con man alert!
This guy did so well on convincing me that he was the man for the job to install a full sound system with sub and amp. Agreed price was $4200

First issue: he drilled through the firewall and hit one of the looms going to dashboard causing error codes (700 dollars to fix) my car was out of action for almost 2 weeks.at first he said it was my problem and not his but after a review he contacted me and eventually agreed to pay my mechanic. Never reimbursed me for all the Ubers I had to take to and from work though! I almost lost my job for all the time I took pff going to and from mechanic and being late.

Second issue: I looked up the cost of all the parts, the total amount spent on parts was only 1300 yet I paid 4200 which means he charged me a total of 2900 in labour! The invoice he supplied was so dodgey not that I look at it

Third issue: I only had this for around 2 months ago and now my speakers are all crackling and can't go louder then half volume, and the subwoofer has blown completely

Absolutely stoked with my Apple CarPlay and UHF installation. Chris was amazing. Very knowledgeable but best of all takes amazing pride in his work. I am pedantic and Chris’ work definitely has my tick of approval. He took time to go through the products before I booked in and spent time going through the use of the products.

Visited Chris for the installation of car Apple CarPlay and both front and rear cameras. He provided exceptional explanations throughout the entire process, displaying a strong focus on detail. Very poor job, couldn't set up the audio still charged me full price and my car has damaged done to the electronics

Excellent service, I took my Kia Rio car to change the radio (too old and without Bluetooth, it was dying with the static of my Bluetooth adapter xD) I phoned immediately they offered me a quality product adjusted to my pocket. Quick installation, Chris took the time to explain me step by step how to pair my phone, how to make calls through the radio and how to use the phone as little as possible. Thank you very much for your help Chris!

Purchased a 2nd hand 2017 prado a year ago had a complicated audio system with rear drop down screen. It stopped working.
Did a little research and found Chris from Tower audio. I read the reviews and expected pretty good service.
The reviews are true, Chris is not only concise in communication, not for a millisecond did I think he wasn’t on the level. A true professional who provides great service and a superior product.

I have been a Tower Audio customer since 2002 and have had a number of jobs done from an alarm system to multiple stereo / amp / sub installs in various vehicles.

The owner, Chris, is the most experienced car audio person I've ever met or dealt with.

He outlines exactly the work he is going to do and provides the cost for the work he does, which is of an exceptionally high standard.

I just had some re-wiring done on my VXR because some hack had bodged it up in the past and Chris fixed it all without an issue.

If you want the best quality car audio gear with a professional installation, then I highly recommend Tower Audio!

Got a full audio system upgrade in my car completed by Chris. This is my first ever sound system and it’s extraordinary. The level of finesse and detail is unmatched. Fantastic work in fitting wireless Apple carplay and reversing camera to two cars. The attention to detail was perfect and the job was extremely professional. Chris solved a very technical problem to interface to an old car radio and persevered until it worked perfectly. He also setup the unit completely, including colour matching the buttons, adjusting the unit's auto tilt and tuning in all the radio stations. He also ensured that the overall wiring was hidden and improved some existing wiring. His training on how to use the system was comprehensive. Completely recommended and I am being quoted some additional work already

Went to tower audio not know what to expect but after speaking to Chris was more than excited and couldn't wait. The finished product.an amazing system that I'm very proud of!

I called to request an estimate to install existing speakers to a Boat Wake Tower and was abruptly told they wouldn’t do this. The website indicates that they do installations and repairs but apparently not for boats. I then asked if they could recommend anyone who would do this and was told I would need to look around. I can’t comment on their quality of work as weren’t interested.

Chris at Tower Audio is fantastic, a true lover and executor of car audio installs (albeit he can come across as having a quirky bedside manner. But I suspect that is from years of having to deal with unreasonable customers?) I've now had him put two new audio units into both my cars, and without question it was the best investment I've put into these cars. Chris is so honest he'll more likely down sell you an audio unit if he thinks what you need is not what you have in mind. Always been there to reset some glitch after the battery has been disconnected without hesitation or charge. Go there with the attitude of getting the best for your car and you won't be disappointed.

Really appalling customer service. Please do not go here. This owner dosent not know how to treat his customers. Also no idea about council laws. Council needs to be out to check his "no parking" signs.no fire exit plan either. So big time hazard.work safe needs to visit.

Should probably charge the man for the fuel i wasted driving down here. Tried to tell me bluetooth was better quality than aux, (which it isn’t and this is a well known fact) and also charge me hundreds extra just to eq my car. Something that would cost no more than 800 done on your own (which you easily can) he was quoting for 2500, plus far more actual time than it takes. I’ve studied music production and know that eqing isnt some magic that costs thousands of dollars extra. Don’t go here.

As usual these days, remove unit drop in I'll send it to my technician starting cost $400, anyone can run wiring, But it's a great web page

Chris is one of those rare finds where you know you're talking to someone with decades of experience. Don't go there expecting a quick, cheap install, this is proper car audio installation, which is very time-consuming and requires a lot of skill, especially if you want it to sound good. I've had a great experience, highly recommended.

I called up and spoke to Chris, who took the time to walk through all the details on what was needing to be done and what kind of car I have and what kind of stereo I wanted to put in. I have a Toyota Prius which is 10+ years old. I had a faulty stereo system with faulty wiring as well, installed by previous owner, with steering wheel controls not connected. Chris was able to give me a quote which was honored in the end and the service was fantastic: everything was rewired from scratch, Bluetooth put in and I now have way more extra storage space in my dash!
I had to drop off my car in the morning and pick up after they closed, so it was a successful trust exercise. Old parts neatly packaged and in the boot.
To those comments below complaining about pricing - you get what you pay for and that is quality work and service.
