Needed some tools for my renovations, I have been going here for a while, generally the service is very good and they have a good range, pricing is mostly within the range of competition, but some times quantity and durability not there example’s I paid over $200 for a quality larger steel drill bit it was a good bit cut well sadly I dropped it from not a very high level and it broke in half tools are just not what they once were, over all good store.

Went to buy some new work boots but they don't sell them at this location anymore. Have got other tools here before though and they do have a good range in the main areas for tradies.

Long story short. Spent over 1k on a tig welder. Stopped working after half a bottle of d size gas (first week of using it, was in box for a month before i got i used it). 4 months later still waiting for an outcome. This item should be replaced or give credit to something that actually works as a minimum. They are trying to fix it and just keep telling me they can't give me an eta. And they are getting parts from another store and doing me a favor? This is unacceptable. Very disappointed.

When I visited Total Tools. I had no idea what I was looking for and I was greeted at the door with a very nice welcome and I was asked if I needed help. Everyone was so nice and said hi when they walked past.

Best Total Tools store visited. Staff are always friendly and have gone above and beyond to help. Always go there with difficult problems and they always manage to find a solution without the forceful sales tactics. Good work!

Been to almost every total tools. My favourite so far. Great service, huge stock and although they were reorganising the shelves, it was very easy to find all my stuff.

Friendly staff but frustrating when they stuff your order up. Sometimes better to order elsewhere

If u are a builder or a handyman and u need the right tool for the job u can get it hear, and the staff are only willing to help.

My first stop for any new tools or equipment I need. The guys here are knowledgeable and helpful with anything you might need.

Do not use their online service. Waited 3 weeks for pliers and still haven't got them. Chased them up four times. Hopeless.

I went there today, the sales staff were rude, the shop was untidy and to top things off they didnt even have what i wanted!

overall it was a very unpleasant experience and i would NOT recommend this store to anybody!

On the several occasions I have visited the Ferntree Gully store I have found staff to be generally well informed about their products and when they were unable to assist, recommended another establishment that could (rather than pushing an item for the sake of a sale).

The last time I visited the salesman was not 100% sure as to the suitability of a product for a specific job so being a perishable item he gave a discount - surprised and impressed!

The sales staff are always helpful and polite, even when they don't have what I may have been after they have suggested somewhere or called another store for me to have it put aside. Everything is easy to find and if I can't see it they are always happy to help with product knowledge and experience in most fields to suit every job. Thanks guys your great!
