Without a doubt the best mechanic shop I have ever been to. The staff go above an beyond and the owner Paul is excellent to deal with. They are always 100% honest about what does and doesn't need to be done to a car and they're pricing always comes in significantly below what other mechanics in the area quote. I won;t be going anywhere else.

Really happy with these guys. Paul and the crew are always prepared to do do the hard yards and even source parts cheaper where needed! Trustworthy operators in a difficult game are hard to find but with TAC the search is over!

Had my Turbo replaced on my 2013 Grand Cherokee replaced due to an actuator fault. Mark and the team research the problem and found all the correct parts to replace it before they started repairs. They communicated with me the whole time and filled me in on what was happening which is a rarity these day with some Mechanics. The jeep after repairs has now full power and no alarms that come up. Diagnostic shows that everything is all within the parameters expected.
I had a great experience here and Mark and the Team went above and beyond service and where willing to help me in anyway to get back on the road. The Owner is a top bloke who was very understanding of my situation and did his best to make it work for me. I would recommend this shop to any one as it has been one of my best experience with a mechanic l have had.special thanks to Mark who always took my call and didn't fob me off.

Took my X Type Jaguar to Total Auto. Mark took the time to run every possible diagnostic on my car. He was very methodical and above all else, ethical and fair in dealing with the engine's problems. We put a new fan module and alternator in, and a new battery. The parts and labour costs were very reasonable, and Mark was quite honest with the costs. The care and intelligence with this mechanic is bar none, a notch above many other mechanics, in my opinion. If you're in the Port Phillip area and have a car problem, it's seems silly to bring it to any other mechanic than Total Auto. Mark, and everyone else, were very friendly, personable, and didn't rush you out of the shop, answered my questions in simple clear terms, and were pretty easy to deal with. Thanks again. CG

Total Auto are great value and very Professional.
I had taken my car to Total Auto before because they were very close and I was very happy with their value for money and the quality of the service. However I just moved and tried another place local and this is where I really noticed the difference this place is over other service places.
The place I went to said they couldn’t fix my cruse control and that I had to go to a dealership so I rang Paul and he said come down. Well they fix the issue is less than an hour and gave me a car for the day as they worked on it.
I also had other work done and at the end of the day my car was all fixed and as clean as a detailer would do and to top it off I had a bottle of Red waiting for me in the car.

Paul & the team did an amazing job on my little Audi A1 Ambition.
Full service with all the trimmings; fixed an issue I was having, and returned her with a smile, nice, fresh and clean the very same afternoon. He made it easy for me and provided quality work. Being a woman, I'm wary of places being opportunistic. I've experienced this on more than one occasion even from dealer service centres. I appreciate when I find someone whom I can trust, who will do only the work needed, and not try and upsell or add things in, or price discriminate based on what I look like or my gender. Thanks for the great work, and I'll see you next time I need something or for my next service. The bottle of vino was also a nice touch:)

We had an engine light come up in our car. I rang Paul at 8.30am and he was able to take the car immediately to look at. The issue was resolved and general service completed in a very professional and timely manner. Will definitely use Total Auto Centre again can highly recommend to others.
