Freda in reception is always so friendly and helpful. Dr Kalan is always thorough and I trust him to do what is right for me.

Dr Richard Smith is knowledgeable, professional, engaging and respectful and my family and I would have no hesitation in referring anyone in to his care.

The flu injection was administered professionally, painlessly and I will be back for my next jab as required. The receptionist Freda is also very polite.

Excellent service, very professional! Starting with the reception, the receptionist (Freda) is SUPER organized, she keeps you updated with any changes (delays, etc) and is very communicative. Doctors are excellent, I see Dr Pearly Ngeow, she is very very knowledgeable and super thorough, she really cares about your health, this is why I dont mind travelling all the way from the west to see her. Will recommend this service 1000%

Dr Richard Smith and the team at Toorak Medical Centre have been beyond amazing with their service. Dr Smith provides a caring and holistic approach with his medical care and is very supportive and encouraging. I have had very poor past experiences at other clinics however the team at Toorak Medical Centre have restored my faith! Could not recommend the clinic more! I have also been seeing Dr Nikolas Kazantzis as my psychologist who has also been extremely helpful and encouraging with my mental health.

Friendly reception staff and great doctors that always have the time to educate and answer all of your questions. Appointments are also on time which is a plus.

This medical center is absolutely first rate, from the pleasant, smart, and knowledgeable people at the desk to my GP, Dr. Richard Smith. I believe that it takes a special talent to be cutting-edge GP, an ability to think analytically and intuitively, to combine both right and left brain conceptualization, and thus find solutions that are not necessarily obvious. Again, it is a rare and under appreciated talent. To find a GP who can treat the ‘whole’ patient and ascertain exactly what’s needed isn’t easy, but selecting a talented GP is probably one of the most important medical decisions a patient ever makes, for the GP is at the very center of patient care. It is the GP who directs the patient to specialists when necessary, and a top-notch GP will have also assembled a network of first-rate medical specialists. Richard Smith is that rare GP. (And I’m sure I’m not doing myself any favors by writing this review: Richard has already got enough patients as it is!)

Dr Anari is very caring and knowledgeable. She is such a good practitioner and has lots of passion for her job.

I wouldn’t recommend anyone else other than this clinic. Beginning from the receptionists who go above and beyond to help you and dr smith who I have seen for over 5 years. Dr smith’s professionalism and care he puts into you will make you feel extremely comfortable. Best clinic in Melbourne

Dr Smith and the team on reception have done an outstanding job of taking care of me over the years. In my experience they have been very proactive with the management of my health.

Dr Richard Smith needs to do 1 hour blocks per patient if he wants to run to time and not have patients waiting for unfair amounts of time including poor reception that assume has to wait until last person leaves.
It leaves an even more sour taste in the mouth when you realise what he charges per consultation. Not competitive at all compared to all the bulk billing locations around with more attentive GPs.
Website needs updating badly- these days people want to book on an updated site that shows the doctors with bio to make sure it aligns with who they want to see. Everything is online these days.
Dr Smith also needs to lose the sarcasm and arrogant “air” about himself, I guess he needs to realise consultations aren’t to waffle on about anything but what the patient has come in for and add a touch of kindness/updated bedside manner.
He needs to be grateful he still has a patient list.
Lastly, lose the classical music. Cater to your patients tastes not your own and it sounds even worse when you’re in the waiting room watching him play receptionist as well as doctor paying that even higher fee for him to listen less and make you wait even longer whilst he keeps darting in and out of rooms whilst you have to pretend it’s okay when it certainly isn’t.

Overall a fine medical centre. Staff are friendly and the doctors are helpful. Only thing to note is wait times can be a little lengthy but if you can deal with that you’ll be happy here.

We know Dr Chris for many years. He is a gentleman and a caring Doctor who would never knowingly harm his patients! He should sue the minister for the way she handled the matter!

Jenny Mikakos MP should resign for her defamatory comments and breach of privacy of this poor hard working doctor who was serving his community.

I worked there years ago and still can’t forget how rudely Dr smith spoke to staff including me that he would scare staff away resulting in massive turn over of staff that me and the physio would laugh together counting one by one how many left and came up with 18 staff in a space of six months, and mind you, include doctors who had enough of his patronising behaviour. And one funny thing that I just found is- Thomas Smith I know is his son who posted a five star review included in the review! Now that’s funny as and only a son would do that!

Dr Pearly Ngeow is a wonderful and caring doctor. She is extremely thorough and approachable. Nothing is too much trouble. I travel from quite a long way to see her and she is worth it.

Great staff and Doctors, needed to make a one-off appointment at a nearby doctor and immediately made the Dr I saw my GP, and now travel from the other side of the city because they're so amazing!

Super convenient HotDoc service on the website too, makes regular script repeats or referrals a breeze.

I have moved to this practice to follow my fantastic Doc Pearly Ngeow who has been my Doc since 2005. This Clinic has a receptionist called Freda who is one of the most compassionate and caring people I’ve seen at the front desk of a doctors Clinic. Her manner is beautiful and she is an asset to this Clinic.

FANTASTIC doctors, although no more bulk billing so will cost you $50 out of pocket after Medicare rebate. Experienced in treating adult ADHD.

Dr Pearly is a wonderful Dr. In all the years I've moved around she has been the one who stood out that I've decided to stick with even though I'm now travelling from Frankston.

She has a warm approach, and shows a very caring nature towards my visits, and concerns. As a women its always a real comfort to have a female Dr who shows a high level of care.
