Nice meals, lovely staff. 10 at our table, one meal wrong, 3 meals were severed well after the others had finished their meals.

Awesome country pub. Good house beer selection and knowledgeable staff. Food was spot on, Brisket Burger was disintegrating in our month, Japanese Chicken Burger was perfectly cooked and my favourite the Spicy Parma, juicy and full of flavour despite the hot ingredients as it should be. Great job

A really cosy country hotel. The food is great and the beer is better still but it's the friendly staff which really makes it worth a visit. Impressive place.

My most recent visit 26/02/22 was in the relaxing beer garden. Great place to enjoy the afternoon sun with a delicious pie and a few of their excellent beers. And the wonderful service from Sarah in the pie shop. Such a warm and friendly person.

Wow! What a great place to visit. Several specially beers to choose from. Pale Ales to heavy ones. A great environment to dine and taste the varies beers. Friendly staff, huge meals in a well appointed National Trust Hotel

We called in for a quick bite on passing, and were thrilled with the service, choice of menu and range of beers. Our waitress was polite and helpful, especially when choosing the right beer. Meal was perfect and we were glad we shared)

Great old fashioned pub in the country. Fabulous food and they have their own Brewery. Locally owned and run by a great couple. Make a day of it not far from Melbourne.

Owner lovely went above and beyond for our large upstairs table. Food was outstanding very delicious and great size meals. The beer was delicious and great variety. The pub is nice good country style.

But there was 1 little piece of work waitress that was the rudest little thing ever. I don't think she had any manner at all she left the room and everyone commented on how rude she was. Its a shame that such a fine established pub has a staff member like this bringing it down.

We had delicious pies at the pie shop.
Great service, extremely friendly staff. Will definitely go back again. The pub looks amazing too.

The pies here are best in Oz! Also we LOVE their own brewery beers especially The Fireman’s Red! Oh did I mention the caring and super friendly efficient staff? Love this place …gorgeous old bluestone building with lots of open fires

Pie shop next door should enter the Melbourne pie competitions they would WIN Hands down. I love a good pie and have tried the winners and this pie shop is the best.

Mmm, pint and a pie is always awesome on the way past or great place to meet up and have a meal. Food is delicious, beer is delicious and customer service is always brilliant. Lovely, genuine staff

This place is fantastic. They have the best pies, excellent beer from their own brewery, a very cosy bar and eating area in a nice country setting. You can also buy takeaway pies (either hot or frozen). Even the drive to get there is scenic with some amazing boulders and hills. Highly recommended.

My first ever review. This place came highly recommended. I was personally super excited.
Until we met, with the most abhorrent customer service experience of my life. The man who met us at the door. He came at us with such rudeness and intensity. That this forced me to leave with my family. Currently getting chorcoal chicken in Kilmore still angry and tired from the situation.
