Good pub food. Great charm and history. Friendly, informative and great service.
Great place to stop instead of the busy towns. Micro brewery with some fantastic flavours on tap. Tasting paddle was a great way to try them out.

We had a lovely catch-up with friends for dinner last week - the service was excellent and our meals were delicious - we look forward to visiting again very soon! Thank you again for the wonderful hospitality!

Dinner for 2 on the way to Echuca for the long weekend. Pub was very busy. Booked a table 2 days before. Food was your typical pub food. Beer was cold. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Would recommend you stop on your way through.

Dined for lunch as part of a car club. We had a big room all to ourselves which was great. I had the hot & spicy pizza which was tasty. Other diners enjoyed their meals also. Service friendly.

On route back to east gippsland.
Stop off at local rec reserve and wow.a hotel/ Brewery 10 min walk.
Amazing steak, parmas and beers.
Trying to work out how we can come again from Bairnsdale.

Fantastic venue. Great beer and pies, very good atmosphere both inside and outside. I will definitely make it my regular.

Dropped in on way past and great decission, great ale (English so I know), great food, friendly Stan and nice atmosphere.

Love the amazing range of beers they have.tasting paddle is a good solution. And the pies from the bakery next door are amazing!

Great craft beers and fantastic pies. Not cheap but well worth the money. Definitely a must stop on the road to or from Bendigo. Don't get there too late after lunch or you might miss out!

Great service and amazing chicken
, bacon and leak pie - best ever and boy I’ve had some pies. Chips were tasty as and salted just right, had several beers loved the gunslinger pale ale!

Loved the Brewery tour. Food was tasty and fresh, staff were very friendly and efficient. Will go again.

Fabulous Pub. Alex and other staff were wonderful. Our group was well looked after. Roast Pork and cheesecake were to die for. Thanks so much for a lovely Saturday lunch

We had a group of 30 mature age book for lunch, the service was terrific, great meals, friendly staff who were extremely accommodating will visit again. Young staff were very patient and cheerful

I was very impressed with the numerous gluten free options. I decided to go for a pizza and it was one of the best gf pizzas I have had in a while! They had lots of gluten friendly dessert options on the board too (I was too full to try one sadly!).

My only thought is that the menu doesn't show what meals can be made gluten free. You've already done such an incredible job making delicious gluten free options available, surely do yourself justice by updating the menu with this information to encourage more gluten free guests to visit! Thank you for the lovely meal, friendly staff and comfortable venue!

Loved the vintage flavor of this place. Delicious ones, brews, and dinner. Highly recommend any of the meat pies. We had chicken, bacon, and leek.friendly, local spot with great service.

Really good county pub. Super friendly staff and owners. Classic pub food. Quickly served. Very nice beers, with a good range. Parking is easy. They had an inside and outside fire.

Quite simply the perfect country pub. Food was great, beer was delicious and the log fire was warm. We even played a few games of pool. Couldn't ask for a better Sunday afternoon in winter

Amazing parma, kids meals are a good size. The beer is delicious. (Edit -Second visit). Amazing meals againg but.kids ice cream was so small and didnt have enough chocolate sauce (from the kids: p)

This was recommended to us.and we went on Saturday Mar 12.we waited over an hour for meals - then asked and obviously they had forgotten about them. Then they came out - one meals was wrong and another was cold. Would not go back.
