Toms Cap Vineyard / Carrajung Estate reviews
31An absolutely breathtaking venue and incredible staff. Ann and her team work tirelessly to ensure everyone is thoroughly looked after when you visit Toms Cap. A highly recommend friend of Kellie Eddy Civil Marriage Celebrant.
Amazing food! Great service! They even had good drop of wine! Thank you Anne for a great afternoon!
All our family went to Tom's Cap to celebrate my parents wedding anniversary. Staff and service was pretty good, the setting was beautiful. BUT, we waited 2 hours for our meals to arrive - thank Goodness the kids got served earlier. I have to say I was a little disappointed with the meal - the menu stated the eye fillet would be medium, mine was well done and a bit chewy.
Toms cap was very nice. We came for lunch the service and food was awesome! We particularly liked the fish and chips
Beautiful grounds. Ok service, nice but a few inexperienced staff. Room has a tenancy to get clattery and loud. Great views to the vineyard. Food 7/10.
What a beautiful place for a wedding that I attended today.
Amazing staff, fantastic food and everyone looked after by all the staff. My special dietary needs were catered for with no fuss which is just amazing and the food was amazing. This place is a little slice of heaven.
Missed my order a couple of times. And been notified only 20 minutes later.
The food and location were great. Too bad!
Lovely winery with gorgeous views, great wine, food and friendly staff. We also stayed at one of their cottages which was the perfect relaxing getaway. Will definitely come back here one day soon.
Definitely a hidden gem, great place to unwind and get away from the hustle and the bustle, sipping wine all day and delicious meals to match.
My husband organised for us to stay at the cottages and have lunch this weekend at Toms Cap for my birthday and we had the best time. We had a tasting of the wines at our table on the restaurant patio overlooking the vineyard followed by a delicious lunch. The lamb backstrap is amazing and dessert tasting platter too. The staff are incredibly efficient and friendly. We stayed in The Nest cottage, which was just lovely. Very serene and the included breakfast basket was a very nice touch. I’d highly recommend this spot as a great weekend getaway in Gippsland.
We only ate lunch here and I can't comment on their accommodation.
They have a small, but interesting menu and everything we tried was delicious.
The duck confit was especially good and came WITHOUT an orange sauce many places spoil the dish with. The wine list was also good, and we enjoyed the few we tried, though I can't say I am any sort of expert.
There were lots of gluten free options including ALL of the shared desert platter which was a first for us!
Staff were friendly, though if I was to have any complaints, it took a while for our food to arrive (30 minutes).
We will certainly go back.
