We came for lunch Aus Day weekend while we were staying at our beach place in Golden Becah (about an hour away). It was quite busy so a little wait for food/service BUT we really didn't mind. The picturesque view and great wine really showcased what Carrajung has to offer. The food was absolutely fresh and delicious. We shared a few plates and finished with a delectable dessert. Can't wait till go again soon!

Celebrated a family birthday in style at Carrajung Estate Restaurant recently.
The Front of House and Wait Staff were delightful, attentive, and informative. They went above and beyond to ensure all needs, not just the gastronomic requirements, of the family were met.
The food and wine were first class, and the tranquil outlook over the vines growing on the lush green slopes topped of a memorial experience.
No hesitation in recommending.

Toms Cap Vineyard is a magical place. It’s worth the two hour drive from Melbourne. Their wines are some of the best Victoria has to offer. Their cottages big and small should be on any wine lovers bucket list to stay. The host is very personable and makes you feel at home. The breakfast basket is a delightful surprise already at your cottage on arrival. The views are spectacular. Drinking a house white or red on the veranda while soaking in the views is the perfect end to the day. Then cuddle up in front of a real log fire. Perfect getaway for someone that wants to just pause life and get away from electronic devices. Mobile phones work but no wifi. What a blessing that Australia offers such an amazing place to stay!

Beautiful accommodation in a quiet scenic location. We stayed in black dog cottage which was fantastic. Ann and her team were lovely hosts. Nothing was too much trouble.

We stayed two nights at the Nest for our honeymoon and it was a certainly a highlight. Very private with fantastic views the cottage is well equipped. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating including providing dinner. Really enjoyed the wines particularly the Cabernet. Definitely recommend to visit or stay.

Went for lunch today after they had been with no power for a week. Everything was amazing. Food was magnificent and the service was the best ever. We even got tips on preserving olives. Highly recommend Toms Cap Winery, treat yourself to a meal there. You won't be disappointed.

Lovely surroundings and the service by our very friendly waitress was great but the food was neither good enough nor plentiful enough for those prices. If I spend $44 on two tiny sliders (it sure wasn't a 'burger'), I'm gonna need to be satisfied, or at least impressed and I was not.

Another exceptional meal in a lovely picturesque venue. Service was attentive but unobtrusive. Thank you so much, Anne.

We stayed in their Black Dog cottage for 2 nights, we loved the stay and vineyard.
Food was delicious, views are amazing and the staff and owners are lovely.
Jacuzzi was clean and functional, kitchen was well equipped and clean.

If you’re staying more than a night I advise to do small shopping for butter and bread etc as no shops around.

Resturante is lovely, food and wine very tasty.

I’ll share some photos.

Once again I opted for the Fillet Steak and was not disappointed. Succulent, tender and tasty. Service was exceptionally good. Great atmosphere, friendly and super efficient

We had a large group for Lunch, after lunch we had wine tastings and cheese platters then we had 3 areas for accommodation for the night, the large lodge was perfect, ensuites in every room, everything was perfect the entire group loved everything, the food was sensational, we had an abundance of food for breakfast, my favourite wines were the Shiraz and sparkling Shiraz, The staff and the Owner Anne was extremely accommodating very helpful, easy to deal with from the start.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch at Toms Cap Vineyard restaurant. The setting is very picturesque, the staff very friendly and the food is delicious. Such a pity it is such a long way from Melbourne.

Shared an interesting range of cheese from around the world paired with assorted local and homemade dips, olives and fresh ingredients. The restaurant is nestled in gently rolling hills amongst the grapevines and beautiful garden surrounds. Friendly, attentive service with lots of outside dining space, perfect for a Spring day. We tried the Rose and Reisling with our cheese platter. Beautiful! PS. There are some lovely cottages available that overlook the valleys.

Once in a lifetime stay! This week has been unique since we had the whole place to ourselves probably due to Melbourne just being out of lockdown. The Nest is an amazing house with everything you need and more. Waking up by nature's call, visiting the lovely animals, roaming thru the Vineyard, tasting the amazing wines, having a good chat with the owners, hiking the Tarra Bulga & Balook National Park and watching the stunning Australian nightsky from the jacuzzi. We couldn't have ask for more. Thank you!

My husband and I had the most amazing and relaxing stay. We loved the atmosphere when in the spa. Next time we will stay 2 nights instead of 1.
