Delicious every time. Staff happy to make some meals vegan for us. Great for sharing, the eggplant is incredible!

What a great little restaurant. The food was fresh, fast and delicious. This place will become a regular for us. A simple tightly seated venue, but forget this and order your first mouthful of eggplant, gyoza, spicy Karage and expand into the eel and extraordinary raw beef with flavours that will not want you to go home. Enjoy a sake, a wine or a cocktail, but enjoy the sake lol. This is a place to keep coming back too

I come to Tomodachi at least a couple of times a month, it's my favourite place to eat in Geelong. All their tapas food is lovely, as well as their lunch meals. Chicken kaarage bento is my go-to bento, and for dinner, the eel is the best eel you can get in Geelong. Even the rice is the best Japanese rice you can get in Geelong, it's so soft and fluffy. The ramen is a million times better than next door at Sober! All for a reasonable price. This place deserves to be talked about more.

Excellent food. Music was too loud though (at dinner). And didn't like the small space and the small stools. But still worth going!

Thank GOD we ate here on our holiday! The food was incredible (I’ve craved it every day since) and the staff were so wonderfully friendly and helpful. We received our food quickly and the price was great for the quality of food.
