TOCHI DELI reviews
42Love Tochi Deli. Been back many times. I almost always get the mixed platter of all the sushi. Such great, fresh fish and other seafood.
Hands down the best sushi and nigiri in Melbourne's north. Lovingly made with the freshest of ingredients by a beautiful team. Come early if you want to be able to grab-and-go quickly, as the prepared items do take a little while to prepare and plate.
Totally lives up to the hype. Some of the best sushi I've ever eaten. Their rice bowls look amazing definitely coming back to try them. Got a takeaway panacotta which was incredibly delicious with beautiful caramalised sauce and lovely tea flavour, not too sweet. Absolutely a hidden gem.
Got some sushi and onigiri from here, the mushroom onigiri was quite plain but the sushi was good. Setting is in an old shopping mall that felt like we were in the 70s
Great quality seafood! It’s wild to find such good nigiri in a cafe-style setting. Highly recommend!
4.5/5
Never disappoints. Fresh, great tasting fish. Donburi are excellent value for money. Sushi a bit less so - nevertheless always exceptional quality. Definitely recommend
Great little Japanese deli
Sushi and donburi were really good.
I'm happy to find this little gem
Great unassuming sushi spot.
Staff are friendly, food is fresh and well prepared, and the the menu has good variety.
Really delicious selection of nigiri. The snapper stock miso soup and king fish are yummy!
A friend told me this place was great sushi and he was correct! Super quick and super fresh - I will definitely be back!
Really excellent food and high-quality sashimi. The location is charming and I love the handmade signs. I go whenever I can. Yum!
I eat here several times a week, the quality of the Nigri served at this price is completely unparalleled to anywhere in Melbourne (unless you want to pay hundreds of dollars).
Definitely some of the best sushi I've had outside of Japan.
Honestly just great sushi - unlike others these have less rice with generous toppers, & so so fresh.
I loved the sushi and I really felt welcomed there. However, please, please, move somewhere else, Your location is quite sad.
Fresh Japanese food found next to Brunswick market. The deli consists mainly of sushi and sashimi and also a few vegetarian options but there are no noodles options. The service is a bit slow but their friendliness makes up for it. #goodsushi #freshsashimi
Great tasting sushi, plenty of options to choose from.
One suggestion - put a menu down the other end of the counter so you can see it whilst queuing.
Lovely sushi, variety of fresh fish. Always a long line and can be a wait. Wasn't expecting it to be in a market that's kinda run down thou, so atmosphere isn't great.
Honestly some of the best sushi you’ll find in Melbourne from this unassuming little joint in the mall.
One of the best sushi restaurants in Brunswick!
Sushi is very fresh and delicious, well prepared and very satisfying.
Salmon and chicken rice bowls are great but quite small portions.
Service is great and staffs are very friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, by the time I arrived, onigiri already sold out.
I will definitely come back for more sushi and try some onigiri.
