It was actually our first time coming to To Be Frank a few days ago but upon getting the best coffees of our lives, we will now keep coming back- I want to give a HUGE shoutout and a very big thank you to barista, Miho, who is the reason I’m writing this review, as they have continued to make us the best coffees I’ve ever had, the milk is velvety smooth and the flavour is full- thank you for putting so much quality and care into our cups, I can literally taste it! I don’t want to go anywhere else! Thank you Miho!

(The only thing I’d love to make a note of is if there was more vegan/dairy free pastry options! That would be wonderful!)

We tried this because didn't get any pastry left on *that* place. BUT I WAS MINDBLOWN! Sorry for the bad pics. We got some for takeaway. I believe it's salted caramel and macadamia twist? So so so good even for reheat! The mascarpone and apple also nice. Hidden gem worth to try!

Nice service and excellent pastries, recommend raspberry danish and focaccia. Focaccia was sold out in just 10min, so popular! Worth the price.

When I came in, other staff were greeting and seemed very nice. However, the customer service from one particular employee who served us was terrible. She did not greet us. When we ordered the pastry, throughout the whole shopping experience, she only said '$15. ' When I paid and said 'thank you' to her, she said nothing, not even a smile.

I come here at least once a week and would happily move in there permanently if I could. Focaccia is phenomenal, baguettes are perfect, and the macadamia/burnt honey pastry I had on the weekend was just sublime.

Amazing every time. This carrot cake croissant was next level. Coffee is solid. Bonus points for having Soy Boy milk.

Picked up a couple rolls for lunch and a coffee. The coffee was solid and the rolls were amazing! Great vibes inside, can't wait to try all the pastries. Will be a 'go to' over winter, for sure!

I can't say I've eaten sourdough pastries but the eggplant, tahini, sesame, cheese and smoked paprika scroll was superb. The slight fullness one gets from sourdough, the filling the black sesame seeds, it's a delicious savoury roll.

I also got the Argentinian pastry which has layer upon layer of flaky pastry encasing dulce de leche, a rich gooey but not too sweet decadent fudge like mix. Teo lovely creations but I particularly liked the eggplant scroll.

Get in quick as there's a sizeable queue lining out the door but it moves relatively quickly.

An amazing hidden gem located in the side streets of Collingwood. Pastries may just be the best I've tried in Melbourne! Rich and full of flavour. A must try.

Such a lovely shop, filled with the most delicious bread and pastries. I HIGHLY recommend their hot cross buns around Easter time!

We didn’t plan on visiting to be frank, but when we stumbled upon it, we were too intrigued not to line up! We didn’t know what to order as it was our first time, but settled on the mushroom danish.

The pastry was perfectly buttery and flaky and the mushrooms were soft and juicy, with a light XO sauce which contrast well with the outer texture. In terms of value for money, it was quite small for $8.

Definitely will be back to try some of their other offerings though, which include bread, croissants and other buns!

My favourite go-to for all baked goods. Their bread doesn't give my family indigestion.

Bought the biggest loaf of bread they sell on order ie their super country loaf and I was blown away I am a bit of a bread maven and this is by far the best bread I have ever had in my 60 + years the caramalised crust was perfect and the crumb was something else their country loaf will be my go to from now on.

Tucked behind the Smith St drag, this bakery is well worth a visit. I had the mortadella and cheese farcita which was incredible. The coffee too deserves an applause

WHAT. A. FIND! This bread and pastries are top notch (I can recommend the ham and cheese croissant l, mushroom tart or kouign amann). Not the refined consistency you can expect from a place lime Lune, more rustic but so damn delicious. Coffee is good too.

I had some kind of organic biodynamic fruit bread that I demolished over a few days. Their stuff is very good!

Our favourite bakery in Melbourne. Great variety of breads from sweet to savoury. The focaccias have an amazingly fluffy and bouncy texture that are well worth getting fresh out of the oven!
