TK Maxx reviews
38A bargain place for Australians - prices are higher than US - they also have and charges for iPhones
Like its cousin TJ Maxx in USA, good bargains to be had. And a unique array of products sourced from all over the world. From Spain to California.
You can get some bargains. And you can drop $1k on a handbag if you are in the mood!
EDIT: No suits in store today.
EDIT: Still good prices
Not bad, it has an interesting mix of essentials like most department-style stores do. The clothing they have is inexpensive but good quality - I found a decent pair of slacks for a reasonable price. Worth a look around, at least.
The security is a joke. They close at 7, It’s 6: 55, Im coming out of the fitting room with an item I want to buy just a size smaller but she won’t let me in the shirts area. There are 25 people queueing to pay, I can wait in line and buy what I have but I cant make 6 steps left to exchange for an item I actually need. “We are happy to serve you tomorrow” though. I dont think so.
Beware of cheap quality product and what's concerning is that, they do not care about customer, i bought kids towel from this store, which looked beautiful but the amount of color which that towel left after wash is terrible and damaged the entire load of clothes.
Its a kids towel doesn't need tonnes of dye in it!
im still waiting for reply to my email which i have sent to store manager on 22nd September 2022.
"SEARCH RESULTS" DOESN'T END! "READY" TO "SHOP" MORE! UNLIMITED COLLECTION!
Full disclosure: I only go here for Halloween stuff, which they started putting out in July I've tried to get there at least once a week since and they've had new stuff out each time. They have a lot of Halloween stuff, amongst other things as well as in it's own section, so make sure you look everywhere.
They do not however have everything in massive numbers however, so if you see something you want, best to get it before it's gone.
I love this shop, it's got amazing discounts my fav is the candles and underwear. I keep coming back for more.
Great store and well stocked. Very professional staff and very clean and organised. Also in a great location with Southern cross station very close. Definitely can recommend!
Located in DFO Spencer Street,
Great store when you are after something nice, but at a lower price.
If you see something you like, buy it, they don't have endless supplies of any on thing
Barely any handbags or ladies shoes. Most of the skincare appeared to be open and tested. Customer service was excellent.
One of the best stores in Melbourne.
Reminds me a bit of the classy shops and dizzying variety you can find in my native city of Madrid, Spain.
Very affordable to buy branded clothes, bags and shoes. I love my MK and DKNY long coats. This is my to go place for shopping every week. Even branded baby clothes are cheaper than the other shops. Every time I go inside TKMaxx, I never leave the shop with empty bag.
If you're willing to dig through the sales, you can get pretty good bargains. Designer brands greatly reduced
Always the best price. Finding the right size can be a problem as most of them are sold (specially for kids).
They're back after Covid. And in force. Men's shoes have reappeared and there's a great variety of clothing too. Good to see the professional staff again.
I visited here twice today and I’ve met 2 different staff at the counter. Firstly, woman staff was little bit rude because when I faced her, she didn't greet me properly, but she greeted my next guest with a big smile and said “Hi~how are you? ”. But another man staff was so nice! I had a short conversation with him and felt welcomed.
It's good, but not as good as TJ Maxx in the US. Lack of brand name stuff. Hopefully it will get better.
Stephanie has great customer service and goes above and beyond in helping people. She went out of her way to help my daughter find her lost phone. Thank you Stephanie!
Friendly staff, well stocked but the store name is a mystery. Its understood that the TK name is a branding spin-off of the original TJ Maxx in the USA. I've been to many TJ Maxx stores in the USA and asked multiple times what the 'TJ' stands for. Nobody knows!
