BUSY CAFE ON EDGE OF SOUTH MELBOURNE MARKET
Tipsy has a distinctly Polish cuisine with pierogi (boiled dumplings) featuring on the menu.
The cafe has both indoor and outdoor tables and is quite busy on weekends with the market shopping crowd.
The breakfast menu is fairly extensive with a range of tarditional favourites like omelettes, full English breakfast and various other egg-based dishes.
Hamburgersand soup round out the lunch offerings.
Food is good quality and a decent serving size.
We found the service to be very slow (a Saturday at lunch) with one of us nearly finishing the meal before the other's order arrived at the table.
People with mobility issues will find it a little challenging as the tables are close together and the floor is very busy.

Had Smashed Avo, Persian Omlete and Sauted Mushroom. It was amazing, they also have a wide range of fresh juices, which were amazing!

We had an excellent group dinner here in a Saturday night. The host was fantastic and recommended us some great food and drinks.

Absolutely love it here. The owner is amazing and always so friendly and funny. Definitely recommend the polish dumplings. They home make the cheese and its utterly delicious. Incredibly hospitibal place, we come as often as we can!

Best authentic polish food in Melbourne. If you didn't come here for the incredible atmosphere and cuisine you'd come here for the customer service. The manager is incredibly hospitable and will do just about anything to make your visit special. Costly located to the south Melbourne markets, couldn't recommend this place enough.

As a local I admit it took me a while to visit here. Silly me, the food is exceptional, the pickles, polish sausages and other delights first class. The staff are wonderful the owner hands on. I have had breakfast, lunch and dinner here. Highly recommend will definitely be visiting again.

Definite must do restaurant in South Melbourne. Interesting decor, absolutely amazing service & an abundance of extremely tasty polish cuisine. Will definitely be returning when we next visit from Brisbane.

Hands down the best food I've had in a long time. Prices are extremely reasonable and the staff are absolutely lovely. My meal of smashed avocado, eggplant, mushrooms, spinach and cheese was terrific. Will definitely be back to try more from the menu!

Excellent service and friendly staff and owners.sometimes the wait is noticeable, but always worth it.
The food is always really good, and my personal favourite beetroot perogi gives me: mums home cooking vibes, excellent.

Delicious range of pierogis and polish soups. Great quality you can taste every fresh ingredient. The staff are very friendly and the service was perfect. I highly recommend the Warka classic beer! Thank you for a great experience I will definitely be coming back soon.

Great authentic Polish food. Lots of vegetarian options too. We went for the feed me menu as couldn't make our minds up. It was all great. The owner is really friendly and helpful.
Have also been here for breakfast too, which was good.

Wonderful little place.
Always enjoy a visit to the tipsy village, and recently the owner was happy to host our group for pierogi and boardgames, which made for a splendid evening. Curated polish beers were also a welcome addition. Highly recommend it to anyone.

This place is a great little find.very relaxed and casual atmosphere. I've been here a few times and always enjoy the experience and food.inside is cozy and warm and outside terrace is a cool spot for a coffee. Ive not tried dinner yet, but tapas menu looks good and the vodka bar looks appealing. Pete the owner is great fun (also the Head Chef) and together with his partner they make you feel super welcome.nice to find these couples doing it tough with a smile.: D
